Yeah and Kelly has another 13 slots to Phil. He’s done a really great turn around at LSU

Kelly still isn't doing shit when it comes to recruiting.

His staff is doing it for him. And LSU can sell itself rather easily (history of success, second or third most players on active NFL rosters, SEC, huge brand)

BK just comes in when the kid is going to commit and "closes".

Stars mean shit now. Now it’s all about development. We’ll see which coaching staff is truly better.

Are we still looking to add to the class in February? Any prospects/guys we are targeting?

As of now, nothing has been said or reported that ND is targeting any more players to add to the class.

That could change. There's always a handful or two of underrated/late-risers that don't sign in December.

That's why I asked, I couldn't remember or recall any names. Then again I'm an idiot and all the DM and PB posts fried my brain. F-it, might as well hit the Pen and crush some 🍕, I'm a lost cause

I refuse to argue about this any further for 2 reasons:

1) Not a single person who has made the claim “there’s no improvement from previous classes” or something similar, has provided an ounce of evidence proving their claim (because there is literally none).
2) Your argument’s goal posts have moved so much that you’re literally hanging your hat on a different school’s recruiting class.

So what did Pendleton momma and keeley’s momma say on twitter? Seems like keeley’s mom deleted a bunch

Apparently Keeley's mom mentioned that alabama wasn't even their biggest pay for play offer. Which means she wasn't super in tune to the admission that comes with a tweet like that. Sounds like someone let her know.

UNC, BYU and Syracuse he registered snaps on the edge. I distinctly remember Cuse he was on one edge and Botelho was on the other.
Oh, I remember Marist on the edge, not Jr. I probably just assumed Marist because of the hair.

I saw it before it was deleted, off a Sampson tweet. She said "he didn't go to the highest bidder, he went where he wanted to be" or something to that effect.
Which, yeah, I'm sure one of the real aggressive NIL schools offered more than Bama did. But Bama still offered more than we did. And so here we are, and there he is.

Listen Freeman is a decent fellow. I want him to win but he didn’t win this year and he couldn’t close this Class like he should have. We nearly had a 300 point class and the it was picked apart a bit too much.

The news now is about Oregon, Miami, USC and Oklahoma- all with either rookie or fairly new HCs.

Losing 4 games - two of them of which are inexcusable is costly. I just don’t have confidence as Freeman as HC. He should let Rees go but I don’t think he has the gumption or even authority to do so.
And that’s fine that you don’t have confidence in Freeman. Your point has been made a million times. No need to ever repeat it again as that would be redundant. So let’s play the quiet game, because Freeman ain’t going anywhere, and unless you’re Nostradamus, you’re stuck on the ride or pick another team. BTW, when he is successful, you’re still free to enjoy.

It’s so weird that journalists and lawyers can actively speculate on how much players are being paid to go places but because of the toothless “enticement” rules players/parents still have to pretend that it’s a pure coincidence that they signed somewhere and also just happened to get a contract with that school’s collective.

To be fair, Ma Keeley did also tweet awhile back “sure if someone wanted to give us $1 million we’d probably go there.” Or whatever it was.

It's becoming a commonality in sports journalism and speculation...

If you were an LSU fan you’d be like “Kelly is trash! He lost to FSU and got blown out by Tennessee, a crap ATM and Georgia! Our program has a long way to go!”

Turnaround…lol.

Travis Hunter gonna screenshot his NIL contract eventually. The don’t ask, don’t tell era that’s currently in place won’t last forever. Eventually recruits/players/families will be proudly announcing the size of bag they are getting from collectives

Bro drunk is one of the worst posters on this forum. It's like arguing with the shitty neighborhood cat that fights every cat on the street.

Any word on other transfer guys we are after?

Fiske has been the only one that has been reported on.

I'm sure there are more. Several ND outlets (Loy & Singer) have reiterated that ND is keeping their transfer activity relatively quiet with the media.

I agree this looks good if not great in a vacuum. But you take a 2 year run of Bama, UGA, OSU, Michigan (with transfers), Texas and soon USC and OU and it would be noticeably better than ND. If you had kept Keeley and Bowen that would have been far better argument.
You seem like the guy that wins a billion $ lottery and bitches about the taxes. FFS does someone piss in your Cheerios everyday or so you do it yourself on the days no one else is around.

Wondering could Jaiden Ausberry be a guy who moves to safety? With the depth of young LB’s

He's a skinny 215 Ibs at the moment. He's so good playing sideline to sideline that it would be almost criminal to not have him play LB.

But, I do see your point about the depth at LB.

Probably the best post I've seen from you; I'm sure I haven't read all 936 but as of late, you seem to mimic many of other more cantankerous posters.

Having said that, I'm kind of with you on this. I don't think Ausberry is a safety but I do think he's a safety/LB hybrid, somewhat akin to JOK. I think his speed and diagnosis is lightning quick and I think DCs will work to find him a position in nickel/dime. One of the podcasts said he grew up playing corner and then got moved to LB so he has incredible coverage skills and loose hips.

I think he's a high impact player that may take 1-2 years (of course it could be shorter)
