The addition of both Karlen and King offers up so many possibilities offensively now. If Koval can give 15 minutes a game and Watson is back at some point, it's going to be a really strong group.

I love the addition of King. Provides another big who can score from the outside. Would have loved one of the big 2 as a transfer but Karlen seems like a good consolation prize. Both transfers are still shorter according to metrics so we’ll see how that works defensively. But this team can and should score high pretty regularly. Ivey has her work cut out for her to figure out how to keep everyone happy with minutes and shots.

Will definitely show how good of a coach she can be.

Looks like she was first team All-ACC. Whoa.
She totally outplayed our frontcourt in both games this year. It may look like she's coming in as a backup but she's going to play a ton. Averaged 10 Rbs a game. Better than anyone we have coming back and better than Karlen.

This will allow us to bring Koval along slowly. King and Karlen will also allow us to manage the workload of the "big four" and weather any injuries as well. Unless there's a whole bunch of them.

I've never seen Karlen play but King is a terrific rebounder, plays a lot bigger than 6-0. We should be able to hold our own inside defensively with a combonation of King, Koval, Westbeld, Prosper and Karlen

I'd say the women's game is too dependent on bigs to go all the way but then you look at UConn vs Purdue battle of the giants for MBB and have to say that's just how basketball works.

A really significant pull. Her and Koval need to play up to their rankings in 2025/2026.

Definitely not Kyle Macy's kid.

Her Great-Uncle and my cousin won championships together at UK and then the Celtics.

Notre Dame needed backcourt help, desperately. Ivey delivered about 3x over

Nice week for Coach Ivey with recruiting and the portal additions; always great to beat out UConn for a recruit.

Can Ivey do some recruiting for the men's side with Coach Shrews?

Looks like she got attached to her AAU colorway

Good to see that she's putting up numbers in the GEYBL. It's nearly impossible now to find a top player who hasn't played for a nearby GEYBL team, so the competition at the events is high caliber.

And that's not a colorway. Funky color combos seem to be the norm in the GEYBL. No clue what some of the directors are thinking.

Keep an eye on Jerzy Robinson. Would love to see her in Blue and Gold in the future. She's just a sophomore in HS, but is already a player every coach should be talking to.

The reason I said it's not a colorway is because the top GEYBL teams only get 2 sets of uniforms each summer session. The directors can change the color palette for the club at their discretion, but once they choose a color and look for the GEYBL session for the year, that's it. And by look, I mean they get to choose the name layout and fonts, and that it. Everything else on the uniform is determined by Nike, and the uniforms change from year to year as Nike releases new uniform materials and designs. However, every club will receive the same model uniform in the same session.

Knowing that, it's pretty easy to say those pictures are taken over several years. If you look, in two of them the team isn’t wearing Nike uniforms at all, which is a no-no for a GEYBL team. They were either a non-GEYBL team at that time or the club was splitting their youth and HS teams as to who fell under the Nike banner. All of the GEYBL players have to practice and play in Nike gear. The others pictures, it's easy to see they're not from the same year based on minor details like different shorts, lettering on the uniform, or uniform type.

OK got it. So it is a colorway.
