Don't get that strategy at all, Starling cuts it to 1 with 35 seconds left, Brey let's Duke run the clock down and they hit a 3 with 11 seconds left. Game essentially over.

After today’s debacle, there would be zero chance he’d be the next coach. But one can dream for a home run basketball hire?

After today I fully expect us to hire a Church basketball coach. My St. Mary's parish coach has a lot of talent and gets the most out the boys. But he will likely demand at least 50 grand, but no buyout.

After this week you know damn well you aren’t getting a top coach to come to ND. That’s what they don’t understand. This affects the entire school not just football.

Didn't you hear? They just named Gerard Parker our Head Coach to save some money. Apparently he played some intramural in college and coached a 7th grade middle school team, so he's got the ideal experience.

There have been almost zero reports recently of who are the candidates of interest. We'll probably need to wait for Brey, Solomon, and a candidate to appear on the jumbotron at a hockey game to get any intel into the search.

UNC basically just rebounded every single thing they threw up in the 2nd half. I legit have no idea wtf they're trying to run defensively, if UNC was hitting shots, they would've won by 30. Instead that scraped by because ND can't find a man and box out, it was embarrassing to say the least.

Probably but hopefully preliminary feelers have been sent out. Would suck to have this big of a head start on the rest of the hiring cycle only to be starting from scratch. Would be par for the course unfortunately.

Only reason I'm still tuning in every game is Brey. As much as I look forward to a new regime, I still appreciate the hell out of what he's done over his entire career here.

Unfortunate final chapter in an otherwise fun ride, IMO. Made a few bucks in the past 10 days betting on the Irish to cover pretty generous spreads, especially +6.5 at home last night. That helps me toon in, too lol
