Honestly, this week looks like kind of a "meh" slate of games... but with 2021 shaping up to be a year of chaos, calling back to the madness that was 2007, there is a good chance that we will see some ridiculous turns of events, some upsets, and some general college football shenanigans.

Embrace the chaos of a year where even Alabama doesn't look invincible!

THURSDAY, SEPT. 23
.
7:30PMMarshall @ Appalachian StateESPN
.
- Marshall might be decent, and App State is always a good game to watch.
.
.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 24
.
7:00PMWake Forest @ VirginiaESPN2
10:00PMUNLV @ #22 Fresno StateCBSSN
.
- Wake Forest is actually rolling through three weeks with a smartly-planned opening stretch. Check them out and see if you want to be in early on a surprise ACC team.
- Night cap... if you're up late on Friday, check out everyone's newest favorite Group of Five team. Bonus: Tathan Martell is working his way into UNLV's QB job, and will probably make an appearance.
.
.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 25 - EARLY
.
12:00PM#12 NOTRE DAME vs #18 WisconsinFOX
12:00PM#2 Georgia @ VanderbiltSECN
12:00PMLSU @ Mississippi StateESPN
12:00PMTexas Tech @ TexasABC
.
- BIG. NUDE. SATURDAY. Go Irish. Let's see if they avoid a sleepy start and get up for their biggest test of the season so far. Wiscy won't let them survive early struggles like Purdue did.
- Clark Lea and Co. host a team that people are suddenly trying to rank ahead of Bama... let's just hope all of the Vandy kids have fun.
- This is the game that put LSU on notice last year. A chance to see how Leach's air raid is fairing in the SEC.
- Texas Tech is a top-5 SP+ team according to Bill Connely... if you remove the historical data and use ONLY this season's results. Are they actually good? Or is Texas back on track?
.
.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 25 - AFTERNOON
.
3:30PM#7 Texas A&M vs #16 ArkansasCBS
3:30PM#9 Clemson @ NC StateESPN
3:30PMRutgers @ #19 MichiganABC
3:30PMLouisville @ Florida StateESPN2
6:00PM#24 UCLA @ StanfordPAC12
.
- Texas A&M backup QB Zach Calzada is settling into the starting job, but Arkansas is suddenly a huge test for a top-10 team. Texas A&M's secondary could be the difference in slowing down Arkansas' passing attack.
- Clemson's Offense: Not great! Clemson's Defense: Great! Now, which happens first... their defense has a letdown, or their offense comes around?
- Schiano should already be credited for the Rutgers turnaround... but an upset for the Scarlet Knights here would be HUGE. Neither team has really been tested, so this might be a good one.
- I'm just gonna keep tuning in to Louisville and FSU games, because both teams have been involved in some entertaining affairs the first three weeks of the season.
- If you have the Pac12 network, this game will tell us whether Stanford is actually turning it back around under Shaw's guidance, or if the USC game was a fluke.
.
.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 25 - LATE
.
7:00PMTennessee @ #11 FloridaESPN
7:00PMNebraska @ #20 Michigan StateFS1
7:00PMKentucky @ South CarolinaESPN2
7:30PMWest Virginia @ #4 OklahomaABC
10:30PMArizona @ #3 OregonESPN
.
- Does a big-game hangover for Florida give Tennessee an opening to a big win? Or are the Gators too far ahead of the Volunteers for that to matter?
- Nebraska acquitted themselves well against Oklahoma's passing attack... now they need to switch gears and keep from getting run over by Kenneth Walker III and his Sparty OL.
- This is the "Kentucky Might be Good!" game every year, and it always seems to be an entertaining finish. Should be a good game to watch purely for entertainment.
- West Virginia put a halt to the VT love affair last week... their reward is a date with Oklahoma. This will likely be a shootout.
- Night Cap: could be USC/Oregon State (10:30PM, FS1), but instead we'll watch another week of Oregon football and see if they dispatch Arizona convincingly, like a top-3 team should.

Some very intriguing games here. I'll definitely be watching the Irish and then I'll probably tune into Tennessee/Florida.

Hot take: One of WVU or Arizona will pull of the Primetime upset.

Vbucks, anyone? Oh wait.....

Soooooo, Wake Forest might actually be pretty good.

A veteran QB that can push the ball downfield, and they’re developing a nice run game to control things (unless UVA is just that bad on run defense).

Gonna be interesting to see how far they can go with the ACC generally kind of down right now.

Virginia might lead the nation in total offense and be last in total defense. They are giving up gigantic amounts of yardage. Their passing offense is very productive between the 20's but the don't get TD's. Run offense is non-existant.

Wow Arkansas throwing a huge first punch at A&M.

Pittman really done an amazing job to from Day 1 pick up Arkansas off that mat and have them believe

Calzada is baffled by Odom’s D umbrella coverage so far. Just standing with all the time in the world

Elko and Lea are no Freeman's.

62-0 for Lea

17-0 for Elko in the second

*Of course, Graham Mertz isn't the QB they're facing.

Colorado State is leading Iowa at the half. At Kinnick.

CSU’s season has been: lost to an FCS team, then lost to Vanderbilt (at home), then handled Toledo.

In another couple of weeks they’ll be Alabama.

Why is A&M not at least trying to just line up 2 TE and run down the gut with Spiller? The pass against 8 dropping in coverage with a backup QB and bad LT play isn’t working

ND should be ranked ahead of OSU, O, Clem and A&M by the end of this weekend.

I’m loving WVU enough to spend a few bucks playing John Denver on the jukebox apps in some bars in Norman tonight if they pull this off. Best DraftKings move of the day here( other than ND money line).
