My hopes for the week are 0 COVID cases and a win by any means

Hate to be a damper this quickly but there was 2 new ones this morning.

Edit: Neither were on the sidelines so good news

Honestly, I think the let down is less likely. I noticed that even in the immediate press conference, many of the leaders like Book and Wu were immediately saying "we've got work to do in taking on Boston College. We'll celebrate tomorrow and then get to work."

ND comes out with focus, eliminates the demons of 1993, and wins it. 42-24.

I just don't see us only scoring 31 against them.

I saw a lot of good things in the passing game on Saturday. Avery Davis and McKinley really impressed me. Book made plays with his arm after leaving the pocket and showed more trust in his teammates.

Maybe the inexperience at WR is turning around as we get through the season.

I just think that Kyren will get some rest and Tyree won't be carrying the ball 20 times. I expect to see a lot of C'Bo and long drives with fewer possessions in the game, like we saw earlier this season.

I think this one will be relatively close, not necessarily because of a let down but because BC has a second shot at a Super Bowl this year after letting the first one slip away. This time against a rival ranked 2nd in the country.

They looked pretty sharp early on against Clemson, especially offensively. They marched right down the field and looked smooth running their scripted plays early. I think the same could happen here, Phil making a few plays early on, but Lea will adjust and we'll have a close game late in the first half.

Just think over the course of the game we'll prove to be too much for them on both sides. We should run for 200+ again, and Book will have some chances to take a few shots in the PA game.

We move the ball all game again but have to settle for three more Doerer FGs.

ND 37 - BC 21.

It has to be tempting to get Ian a million yards passing this weekend.

Usually you'd say "trap game". But naw, not against BC with 5*Phil slinging it. ND will be ready to play this one. Our Oline and Dline will wear them out.

I think it will be close 1st half, something like 17-14. We will all be ready to jump off the ledge. Then we grind them into submission in the second half and end up winning by 2 scores.

I think the D and especially DL will get up for this one. I think BC's offense will hit a couple big plays but not consistent enough to make it close. We win but don't quite cover 30-17.

Which will lead to:

"Look....winning is hard...." - CBK, postgame.

ND wins 35-21

Phil makes us all extremely frustrated as BC takes a 14-7 lead early behind a long bomb to Flowers, followed by a punishing TD run from Phil...

ND gets pissed off, the OL and Kyren wake up, and ND scores 28 straight while shutting Phil down to take control.

Phil gets a cheap one in at the end.

Boston college is averaging 3.1 yards per carry. They scored over 30 points twice all year. I think we roll them by three touch downs.

I see a game similar to Pitt, no contest from the start.

I think this will either be a down to the wire type of game or a blowout. For whatever reason, I just don't see middle ground.
