Sounds like he needs to play RB. 5-10.5 LB? No thanks for me.

I probably should have included him at RB but besides him being a Hoban kid, I haven't seen anything that says ND has a chance other than getting the comp visit. But if they clean house in Columbus, everyone in Ohio is a target as long as admissions says ok.

Really like the hit list. Offensively I like all the RBs. All were either super shifty or super fast. Burris will take a rating boost. Loved Dottins film because he blocks well. All those WRs are good. They need to offer carmody now and just lock him up. Enough's enough. Favorite OL is Dylan Barrett. Kid just abused people on film. Has a Big Q mentality when he plays.

On D loved Kaden Johnson. Think he could play drop. I say offer him and let him play wherever. Ethan West could as well. Really hope they can get Jacolbe Cown out of NC. His film was nasty. Really quick first step. Anyone from St John's college this year they should offer. They are all good. Interested to see if the make any headway with Sherman.

That's exactly what they need at WR, a few Top 100 guys that can compete with anyone in the country. If we can't sell PJ and our OLine recruiting to these WRs then something is wrong. No reason ND shouldn't land 3 of those guys.

I've had a lil extra time to catch up on '20 & '21 recently.

Gotta love this class. I thought the OL was going to go just as I thought (after they passed on Carmody the first time around) and well... Still, I like all the guys on their board because it's awfully close to my original board.

In all other spots, it's better than I expected. Tyree make RB 4x better than I thought was really possible.

The DL could be a best case scenario across the board if they land McG. Almost speechless.

Kind of makes you feel like the old days...

With Baker on board and a recent offer extended to Carmody. what’s the state of OL recruiting for the class of 2020? I know we’re still recruiting Atteberry and Zinter, but it feels like we have a very small board this year (not necessarily a bad thing) and may be taking a smaller class than in previous years.

I'm hoping they run out of spots for Atteberry at OSU and the mojo ND has with SixZero Academy in CO where he & Kahuna train helps land him too.

That's what most people think. We apparently have a lot of traction with 2021 OL, so we could feasibly take 5 and have all of them ranked 93+ (and a number of them are 95-99).

A smaller preceding class would hopefully further set the hook.

Yeah definitely wait for 20. there are more glaring needs than OL in this class. DB being one of them.

They already have Crippen then you have Tengwell and Fisher. They still offered Rucci, Brockmeyer, Christman (Amen) and Dellinger. Not to mention the 5 to 10 other guys Crus has evaluated which will get offered.

It sounds like the staff is open to taking 0 LBs this cycle (assuming Botelho doesn’t end up there), 3 OL, and 1 RB. We also know that we’re finished at QB and TE. We’re probably finished at ST, and closed to finished at DL (come on McGregor). If that’s the case then the only positions where we’re still questionable on numbers is WR and DB.

I wonder if the staff plans to throw a bunch of bodies at WR andy DB to see what sticks given that’s where we got exposed against Clemson (WRs not explosive enough, DBs not deep enough).

Right now they’re fine. It’s a couple years from now, post-Jafar, that worries me. Especially if something happens to Williams or Tyree.
That said, BK has been pretty good at finding RBs elsewhere on the roster.

Yep, after looking at the spring game Jahmir Smith is impressive.

Off topic, I also thought Shayne Simon was pretty impressive in the spring game. LBer does not look too bad.

I honestly hope it's Tyree. I feel really good about DL recruiting but we need a stud at RB. But based on the fact Elston was at his LAX game, it's probably McGregor which is kick ass too
