I'd love to analyze the debate and throw my two cents in the jar but I don't know Spanish.

God bless Robert Francis O'Rourke

Did de Blasio drop out yet? He followed up his debate performance where his own police department fact checked him by going down to Miami and quoting Che Guevara at a rally!

I saw Elizabeth Warren on stage standing with a bunch of people who think they are going to get Mitch McConnell to work with them. None of them want to fight for anything. Business as usual.

That'll be Joe Biden tonight. I'll spare you the suspense. "Hey, remember Obama? I was there."

That Delaney goof barely won his deep blue district in Maryland vs Dan Bongino and his takeaway from that experience is he can be President?

Pretty much spot on. Awful night for Joe. He is not suited well to stand up to attacks from a field of 20+ Democrats. He has been at it way too long, and has way too many soft spots.

Mayor Pete showed tonight that he was the smartest, most logical/reasonable/rational person on that stage by a mile. I thought Kamala Harris was also very impressive and could win the general election. She better hope that Jussie Smollett case is resolved in the next few months and she better distance herself from him like a Bubonic plague filled rat.

Bernie showed tonight why he could have trouble both in the general and getting the nomination. He's the same dude as last time, just older. And with a crowded field -- not a curated one for him to play "spoiler" to one of the most reviled politicians of all time -- his shtick only goes so far.

In short... I don't think either of the favorites should really be considered favorites anyone. I think right now you've legitimately got a group of 5 contenders with 15+ pretenders.

This thread is why Biden will eventually lose out on the nomination. All a Dem candidate has to do is have the balls to turn the rage machine currently directed at Donald Trump towards Biden.

I think he is still gonna win. Twitter is not reality when it comes to politics. Lib twitter seems to think that Harris owned him, watching as a curious Republican, I thought his response will resonate with what I suspect is the average Democrat voter(much closer to the center than the media leads you to believe)

If he gets the nomination, it comes down to the economy and how hard the leftists pull him. One of the benefits he has is that he is incredibly popular with older dems and black people <----important because after all the race shit he went through last week he still was performing well among them.

If he gets through the primary with his relative moderate Democrat stance intact I think he wipes the floor with Don. If he lets these lightweights goad him into adopting leftist talking points then Don wins as long as the economy is intact. People currently look at Biden as a stabilizer who can guide the ship for 4 years. No one is gonna elect him because he has big ideas.

Pretty bummed Yang got as little air time as he did. They asked him what 2 questions? I guess he said at his post debate rally that his mic was off whenever he wasn't asked a question.

Him and Pete are the only two of this group I could possibly vote for.

How in a country of 350+ million is this the best we can do?

For Biden, this boils down to how far left the majority of Dems have moved. One other thing to consider. With Trump's antics, I think he may be looked at as that stabilizer and the surest thing to bringing dignity back to the POTUS.

Because the rest of us are smart enough not to wade into the cesspool that is politics.

Pulled up some clips from the two debates, and the nonsense that resulted of the second was scarier than the first. Here's what I got:

1) Dems saying our economy needs to work for everyone. So record low unemployment across the board is bad news, I guess.

2) Borders are racist, our immigration laws are racist, and Dems want US citizens to pay for healthcare of every swinging dick that crosses our border.

3) Dems want to take away weapons of war, and they will determine the definition of that.

4) Free, unlimited abortions for every cross-eyed, one legged transgender person in the US...the most oppressed minority group we have.

5) Bernie thinks he can, as president, rotate judges who don't agree with him.

6) Trump is Hitler.

What did I miss?

I think Biden's path to victory is to own being to the "right" of some of the policies being presented. That's hard to do with 20+ people who will attack you from the left, but it'd be better than being inauthentic and fake #woke. He's playing to the Twitter crowd not the people who would actually vote for him in the first place.

Agree,... he’s the only one that stands out in any significant way and that’s why,...

I see Biden as nothing more than a place holder for the establishment. I doubt they believe he can win, but he's useful at the moment b/c he prevents Bernie from being the front runner in the polls. An early lead for Bernie could give him the momentum and donations neeeded to win the primary, and I think we all know the DNC establishment isn't interested in whatever Bernie is selling. While Biden keeps Bernie at bay, the establishment will find their horse.

It looks like they're flirting with Kamala Harris right now. She's controllable. I think they doubt her electability for now, but she'll have a chance to sell them. Early debates and campaigning will be key. Either way, they'll put Biden to bed as soon as they find their man/woman/trans or non binary person.

Brah, Beto has this wrapped up. He's gonna take the Presidency just like how he beat out that weak ass Ted Cruz for Senate. Oh, wait...

Kamala is far too flip floppy. I also cant imagine the powers that be will want to listen to Donald savage her on national TV about how she got into politics.
