Couple of new fellers to shed some light on:

Monroe Mills visited last year for FSU. He's the last OL that Quinn has followed. Catholic school kid and of course, he's 6-7. Has KU & Dartmouth offers. Shocked he doesn't have offers from all the regional P5's already(?) Of all the big OT's on ND's board, he's the most RT-ish of them all without looking like a one dimensional roadgrader. 11+ minutes of solid highlights.

The next prospect is Jonah Monheim.

This film reminds me a lot of Jarrett Patterson's. He flows from one block to the next like a pro. Great feet, gets to the second level like a Nebraska FB in the 70's. And he likes to finish with nasty authority. Around play 8 or so, watch as he drops back into PP and delivers a punch. When you see it you'll know what I'm talking about. It's basically assault and battery, defender assumes fetal position. Definitely has the books covered too as you'll see below.

Alexander's been following him for a while and he just started following Quinn. I did put him on the Master Thread List last year but I didn't check out his 2018 film until his offers started pouring in. It's one of those handful a year that slaps you in the face.

Not as athletic as I would hope, but I think SDE is a perfect spot for him. Wish he was a little faster but he is strong and has great hands at point of contact. Also has a great motor. Needs to get lower as well. He just needs polish.

BK follows along with all kinds of affiliated ND folks. Bama and Stanford offers but only 8 or so others and it's not UGA or Clemson. Had 764 yds on 144 carries, 124 receiving yards on 9 receptions & added. Highly productive LB too. Ran a 11.08 100m at a state track meet and won the 6A discus with personal best of 163 ft. (That's 3 feet short of Jack Kiser's best.)

Keep in mind he doesn’t have an offer yet and I think there is a clear hierarchy at SDE.

Oh my would be a take for me. Has a thick lower body to keep those legs turning and get those extra yards. and as you mentioned his LB film is not bad at all...playing with a broken arm.

Crus and I had a convo about this kid on this thread I think. 6-9 months ago I was really hoping this kid would get an offer; I still hope he does, but with last year's class and the way this class is shaping up, I wonder if they ever do. I guess it'll depend on what Mills and McGregor do.

Deontae goes to Culver Military, which is roughly 45 minutes south of South Bend. Brian Kelly and his family are no strangers to this school as 2 of his 3 kids went there. I watched Deontae play in the basketball sectional championship last year against Marian (Demetrius Jackson). I didn't know who he was or that he played football, but he's a good athlete. Culver actually went to the state championship last year in basketball.

Hopefully they try and get him on campus this Spring/Summer with or without an offer. I think a lot depends on McGregor. If they lose out on McGregor or think he's headed elsewhere then I could see them ramp up interest. Also should note that Xavier Carlton is expected to visit in March, he's another SDE target they've been on for awhile.
