Word on the street is there's trouble in paradise with Darvon Hubbard and OSU. I heard towards the end of the season that OSU was backing off of him. His (former) teammate is their prized QB for '20, Jack Miller. Hard to ghost someone when your QB is also committed and not getting ghosted. Then comes this, his family is said to have moved 40 miles of Chaparral HS so he transferred. I've also heard he's trying to get into IMG.

Seems like if all things were cool, this wouldn't have happened.

I've seen Hubbard in countless interviews and he is well spoken. I've seen him play and he's worthy of all of the offers he received. Is this something ND could get involved with if the smoke matches the fire? He's originally from Akron btw.

Zak Zinter offered. Definitely a guard but he also plays Nose Tackle so me thinks he could end up at right tackle perhaps. Has a Quinn Carroll approach to me. If ND wants one guard this year I would be happy to have him. Pulls well off the line.

I’m definitely foggy on ND’s history but it definitely seems like the staff is turning January’s recruiting period into the May Evaluation period which is awesome. An offer is going out almost every single day for 2020 and 2021 kids. The sped up recruiting timeline requires this happen, but it’s also hats off to the staff for getting their work done early with the 2019 class. ND has been in to see Foskey, Turner, and Darkwa in Germany from the 2019 class and i think that’s it. It doesn’t seem too long ago when the staff visited 15-25 seniors in January in hopes of landing some last minute commitments.

Reece Atteberry, Jimmy Christ and Roger Rosengarten are the others who haven’t yet visited and that could change this spring as possibly all of those 4 will make it to campus. Pretty incredible that Quinn could get all of his 18 offers on campus and its not like ND is offering bums. Also, Quinn has been on campus as an analyst before this so he’s actually met probably all of those visitors on their visits which makes his job of figuring out his ranking list of who he wants, easier. I’m going to hope for Tosh Baker, Andrew Gentry, and Bryn Tucker for the class, but almost any 3 of these 18 offers would be great additions. We’ll probably see some movement in April when the OV’s come into town. OLineman like to lock in their spots earlier usually so I’m excited to see what happens
