Reminds me a lot of Daelin Hayes, probably a notch below that in overall athleticism. He doesn't quite have the quickness/twitch or length to make me think he'll be a Julian Okwara or Kareem type of pass rusher. He's not faster than Daelin. At a similar age Daelin was a being recruited as a 5 star ATH. He was playing LB in camps settings and covering RB's extremely well. If put Johnny at a Rivals camps and have him cover RB's, it wouldn't look even close to the same.

I was talking about speed around a tackle, not speed in coverage. I don;t think Johnny can cover well, simply because it wasn't presented on his film.

Here's a list of regional guys (inside 8 hour drive) at different positions and others who are visiting ND soon. Really hoping ND is able to close it down with a couple of guys in the winter. Some of the regional guys could pop up as visitors for next weekend's junior day which would be awesome! Really nice surprise would be getting Lejond Cavazos up for a visit right after decommitting from Ohio State.
