Cowboys D... LOL.

Losing to a team without a name, at home, on Turkey Day...

The word is Dallas is now tanking. But why win last week though? I get that winning the division at 5-11 would drop them all the way back to pick 20 as opposed to a top 8 pick or so. But still, if you're gonna tank, then tank.

IDK. It's really hard for a team to intentionally tank, unless you're specifically benching or holding out key players. I don't see that with Dallas. They were fighting and in it until the 21pt 4Q by Washington. They just fell apart hard lol

My son and I looked at each other on the pass on 4th and inches and said 'Tanking?'

When Jaylon got that pick and didn't score, Dallas ran two terrible plays that lost yardage until throwing to a tightly covered Lamb. He almost scored anyway. Once again we said 'Tanking?'

Then they were down only 4 at their own 22 yard line and ran a fake punt. Instead of throwing it to the open reciever, like designed, he simply runs runs into the defenders. That's when we said 'Yep, it's a Turkey Tank.'

Also, lots of smoke about moving on from A LOT of players after the season, including Zeke and rebuilding.

IDK man. You really think players are involved in a tank? Dalton had a pretty decent QBR and completion %. I think they have bad HC and simply a bad D. If they're going to tank (players), they're not going to keep it close for 3 quarters. You could argue the coach is in on the tank, but I just don't buy players. Reich for the Colts runs bad plays all the time lol. IMO, if they start benching guys (that they'll likely purge) for rooks or younger players, then I'd agree. But right now, they're only one game out of winning the division lol.

Nah it's not the players. It's the Jones' and Big Mike.

4th and inches at your own 40 and you pass?

4th and 10 at your own 20 down by 4 and you run a fake? That's beyond crazy.

They have already started the purge. Guys like Jaylon are next, unfortunately. He's awful.

BTW, it's not just Dallas. It was pretty apparent that the Jets tanked the end of their game a couple of weeks ago against NE. They are determined to get TL. I don't know if there is anyone Dallas is targeting. The theory is they want draft capital to trade for picks for a serious rebuild.

4 and inches play, a QB can easily check out of. not that crazy anyway. was that before or after they lost big Mike?

4 and 10 fake, didn't you say it was designed to pass (and the guy was open), but went to the run?

Justifiably. He's been fucking terrible.

At this point, the Denver Broncos will play the Saints without any available QBs. Jeff Driskel had a positive Covid test and Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles were deemed to be high risk close contacts with him and were not wearing masks.

The Broncos could resort to using either Kendall Hinton, a practice squad wide receiver, who played QB at Wake Forest or running back Royce Freeman in taking snaps behind center. Freeman threw five passes in high school and one at Oregon. The NFL has given no indication that the game would be canceled.

Broncos are refusing to forfeit too.

Without Bud Dupree, any chance the Steelers had of beating the Chiefs in the playoffs goes to remote at best.

Tomlin's post game presser yesterday sounded like a loss if you didn't know the score. He was beyond pissed.

I think Highsmith has shown some promise. He's an obvious step down from what they had in Dupree, but I think he can be productive. Also, they have plenty of other good pass rushers in Watt, Tuitt, and Cam.

Offensively...Claypool, Johnson, and Ebron need to catch the damn ball.

He's a rookie. Watt is going to get double teamed now with Dupree out.

Highsmith is going to have to play at an ultra high level. Just sucks.

It does suck. But the front 7 is still strong. Double team Watt and that frees up someone else.

So the Bengals bullied the Steelers last night... and it was awesome.

Now I know what Steelers fans have felt like watching the Steelers bully the Bengals for years.

Unrelated to the rivalry, it was nice to see the Bengals play with passion and attitude without being dumb just in a general sense. Alexander's personal foul early on was dumb, but not to a 'Pacman Jones' level of dumb.

I also have no issues with Juju and his Tiktok antics personally... but I do love a good dose of instant karma, too:

Wheels are off. It's going to be an interesting offseason for the Steeler offense.

RIP Kevin Greene.

The Pro Bowl selections are out and Quenton Nelson was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons. He's just the third Colt (Andrew Luck and Alan Ameche) in team history to do that. Nelson is also the first offensive lineman to achieve that since Zack Martin did it between 2014 and '17.

Great end of season games by Claypool, Tuitt and H. smith; the latter two who were snubbed for the Pro Bowl. Smith ends the year with 5 picks and 10 PD, where as Tuitt notched his 11th sack. Maybe they can get some 2nd team all pro consideration. As of now, Nelson is ND’s only lock considering Martin and Stanley are out due to injury.

Maybe I'm just a bitter Giants fan but what we just watched the Eagles do was borderline criminal.

Considering all the heat Dan Snyder is under, I wouldn't put it past him to line some pockets to ensure some good feelings in the fanbase.

If the NFL launches investigations about air pressure in footballs, surely there is enough to take a look at what Doug Pederson just did.

I don't want to hear "but a better draft pick." Jason Kelce and some others looked like they could kill the guy. Clearly he was the only one in on it.

I mean it’s obviously better for the Eagles if they lost today, but the swing in draft selection is only 3 places (6th vs 9th) with the outcome of the game. The players will never willingly lose the game. But as far as the questionable decisions that happens today #1 Hurts had a worse performance (statistically) than Wentz did in any of his games #2 going for it on 4th form the 4 yard line down by 3, Elliot is 1/3 on FG under 30 and Pederson is consistently the most aggressive coach in the league. Not much the league can pin on them.

I’d be pissed too, but the giants and their fan base should of seen this coming from a mile away.

FINAL SCORE: Eagles win by losing to Washington, 20 to 14

Towards the end of the third quarter, instead of kicking the tying FG with the ball on Washington's 4 yd line, they went for it on 4th down and the pass was incomplete. The Eagles then pulled Jalen Hurts in favor of Nate Sudefeld with 12:35 left in the fourth quarter with the score 17-14 (Wash). Hurts was 7-for-20 on the night and had a 25.4 pass rating, but scored twice as a runner. The Eagles offense was filled with practice-squad players at key positions. Sudefeld was inactive for the previous 14 games and had not played since 2018. He then threw an interception and when the Eagles got the ball back on an interception of Alex Smith, Sudfeld fumbled recovered by Chase Young. He also took two sacks and his QB Rating was 2.4.

The Chicago Bears may have really wasted their window. That defense is really good and they will wind up with nothing to show for it soon enough. They were on the field for most of that second half yesterday against an HOF QB.

I don't see how you can bring Trubisky back. It seems like there are some players there. Montgomery and Kmet should be there for years. Allen Robinson would be fantastics with a QB. The Miller kid has talent but he's a hot head and may have played his last game there.

That defense is starting to move out of it's prime, though.

That Washington Football Team DL should be something as long as they are kept together.
