A couple of things about Hilinski. I hope ND doesn't get involved with him. His family is known as the Transferring Hilinski's for a reason. Ryan started out at JSerra but when it was clear he wasn't gonna beat out Matt Robinson, he left for the vacancy at OLu.

Secondly, he's getting some serious offensive help with Servite's Ethan Rae and Kyle Ford transferring in. They are my #1 TE and WR in the class.

Don't know how I didn't make a profile for this guy?

He has numerous ND follows including Coach Kelly. Transferred with Servite teammate TE Ethan Rae (ND Offer) to Orange Lutheran.

Ford along with David Bell are my favorite WR's in the '19 class. Super productive as a soph in the country's #1 conference where there were 20+ P5 DB's last season. Only Rivals has him rated so far at 4 star / 5.9 but he will be a Top 10 receiver when it's all said and done. He may even become a Alize Mack clone at Flex cuz this kid is stacked as a soph, 6-3, 200+

He's 6-5 205. Can run sub 11 sec 100M. Averages 18 & 9 on the basketball team. Had 450 yds receiving last year and had a KRTD too.

Coming to Irish Invasion. I think his future is football.

Ran the overall fastest 100m at the state meet yesterday in prelims - 10.63. Tweaked his hammy in the 200m prelims and that was that for his meet. Scheduled to be at Invasion next weekend. Wonder if he'll be able to compete now? Will that stop him from getting an offer?

Rodas Johnson is a 4 star DT (13th nationally) out of Ohio, who will visit for the OL/DL camp on June 24th. ND is really putting in some work with some quality 19' players. He doesn't have an offer yet but it could be coming soon. Wiltfong with the early CB.

I agree, but feels a little cart before the horse. There's no guarantee that this coaching staff is even around for the '18 class enrolling.

Turnover isn't out of the question but Elko isn't going anywhere. I'd bet this is a Dave Aranda type scenario.

ISD's Matt Freeman felt good about his trip, but nothing like this.

Edit: This would be the biggest get since Jaylon, right?

Maybe? I can't get myself to think that far ahead. We're still like 20 months away from his NSD. It's great that Steve thinks ND will land him but even a guy like Wiltfong, I can't put much stock into his CB with so much time left in his recruitment. He's also from Texas, so who knows what UT, A&M, and LSU will do.

It's good to hear his visit went well though

Yeah Wiltfong has admitted he uses the CB as a barometer of where the recruit is leaning.

Long, long way to go here. We'll have to fight off Tom Herman and a possible replacement for Sumlin plus all the other regional powers like LSU, Oklahoma, TCU, etc.

A CB prediction without a verbal commit imminent means nothing more than that they are trending one way or another but not an actual prediction of where they are going to end up.

It's a weathervane, essentially telling you which way the wind is blowing at the moment.

That said it's great news to be in this position then not after the visit.

He's clearly got a bigger arm than Book and a nicer throwing motion. If he grows to be 6'2 then fine
