Well they aren't done with Keegan obviously but all the info coming out of Illinois says it's Michigan going away. In any other year, I'd want his as that RT/Slide inside OG but either Quinn or Olmstead are prolly that guy already (if I can count my chicks before they've hatched) because of Kristofic. Too be honest, if they wanted to go after a local guy, I'd rather it be Joe Tippman.
As far a the new follows:
They definitely want at least one traditional interior lineman like Saleem Wormley. someone who could be an OC also would be ideal.
I saw BK followed Will Putnam and he followed BK back so it's a thing. Pretty sure Putnam was the first '19 profile I made and there was some very pro-ND stuff about him before he had a single offer. He's a state champion level wrestler too so that earns extra points.
Christian Mahogany is a big boy from a big program and his film shows that he has very good mobility too. Is he athletically the same level of prospect Wormley or Caedan Wallace is? (who I'm bummed ND hasn't offered because early on it looked like ND vs PSU)

Sataoa Laumea has good film and I couldn't argue with him as a prospect but the best film of any OG not named Kardell Thomas is Dohnovan West. He's a perfect demo fit from HS program to offers and he made the Final Five at the Opening LA. I'm shocked that the staff isn't on him.

Interesting notes about Trevor Robinson besides being a future WWE wrestler...
He's been listed as a ND offer for a long time. A year and a half ago on his original Scout profile, it had ND as an interest with just Texas Tech. It's interesting but film is spotty on him last season(?) He may have a pituitary issue too. His face/head looks like it and he's now 7-0/360.
Jack Stewart is a nice player and he's one of '20 QB offer, Drew Pyne's OL's. New Canaan aslo has a 6-7/317 OT named Jack Conley. Pyne should have plenty of time to throw. Tough to tell how good those guy are on tape, the comp is bad and everyone looks like dwarfs.
Beaux Limmer is NASTY but I'm not sure how big he really is. He's got that Jarrett Patterson vibe in his film. My guess is 6-4/250's. If ND offered TE's based on blocking, he'd be the guy you'd give it to.
If he was 6-6/280 I'd put him in with Walter Rouse and Josh Plohr. Well maybe Plohr. Rouse is so far up my board that I'd actually take a chance pissing off one of Carroll, Olmstead, Kristofic to get him. Been looking for any glimmer of interest to build a profile for him. He's this year's J Patterson/ Finn Dirstine for me.

Not too overly worried about QB recruiting, but it is a little funky that no new offers have gone out. I'm guessing ND wants the future additional offers to work out in person before earning an offer.

The worry that I would have with this board is that Grant Gunnell doesn't seem too interested in ND until he visits, Dylan Morris is committed to Washington and I only included him because he was ready to commit to ND before McNamara took his spot. Paul Tyson is a bigger legacy than all other legacies at Bama, and Max Duggan seems enamored more with TCU & Minnesota than ND.
Maybe Tagovailoa & Tyson can't coexist at Bama and ND is able to sneak in and steal one.
Of the highly ranked guys left, I think ND should make a run at Taisun Phommachanh, Sam Howell, and Hank Bachmeier. I think ND should definitely be going after Bachmeier regardless of the other prospects. He's got offers from Dartmouth, Yale, Vandy, BC, Cal, and UCLA. I think he doesn't end up at Boise State or Oregon State (last two visits he's made)

Here's a story that'll make you sick. Gabe Newburg is a WAY undervalued 3* DE out of the Dayton area. His Jr year highlights were as good as you'll find. Maybe a notch up of Colt Ellison's. I put him on the 2019 List when his Soph film came out.
Anyways, Urban had him in Columbus last weekend for an unofficial and asked him to be patient for a month and not commit anywhere else. He left town and did the opposite! Great story right???

But unlike the past few cycles, there are guys on the board to be excited about. Still, as Urban continues to ignore or slow play Ohio kids until late in the cycle, ND has to be there doing the ground work early. ND's goal in Ohio should be to be known as... Ohio's other team throughout the state and to be OSU's equal in the big Catholic programs.

Loy tweeted something the other day that I didn't have time to read (if it was free?) about 2 QB's he thinks they should offer and one was committed elsewhere. I'm gonna guess the committed guy was Mertz.
Graham Mertz started off at Bihop Miege with Armstrong, Grunhard but got stuck behind incoming ND baseball recruit Carter Putz... who was the 2x Gatorade POTY in KS. He then transferred to a public school. If he's close with those guys, maybe ND makes sense for him? I have no idea.
Grant Gunnell: No idea besides he reached out to ND and that is said to be part of the Cade situation. How Cade found out about Grant reaching out to ND or why he would care is beyond my pay grade. What did ND say back? Why haven't we seen anything develop from something that was so powerful to cause a prob with Cade? There's more to the Cade story than being reported.
Paul Tyson: He' growing on me. If he doesn't want to go to Bama with the Tagovailoa bros, I can understand it. ND gives him the perfect option to pick something other than G-Pa's program, he play's the academic card, keeps the homestate fanbase off his back without giving up any football prestige. This wouldn't shock me.
Hank Bachmeier: Part of Bachmeier's family is from Minnesota. I thought if one of the PAC heavy's didn't sweep him off his feet quickly, he was going to sign with Fleck. Then the intel with Duggan said his action was towards Minny, I think this makes Bachmeier prime pickings for the first national power who offers and goes all in. That could be ND. He and Dad obviously had some feelings for ND cuz it was the first place they took a long distance unoffical to. I've been on him since Day 1, I'm not as overwhelmingly high on him as I once was but he's still #1 all things considered.
Jacob Conover: Dude's a machine. Problem is, it' a 6-0 machine in cleats. You could do a lot worse and he may be the next Drew Brees but I'd rather go with someone taller. Gunner Cruz is rocketing up my charts since last year's state championship game here in AZ. One to keep an eye on.

Jayden Daniels & Taisun Phommachanh: If ND takes a swing at them it's well deserved. Daniels put up ridonkulus #'s last year and Phommachanh is hot commodity right now but nothing I've read sets off my Irish spidey senses.
Connor Bazelak: Keep an eye on him. ND is. If all else fails, there's always Archbishop Alter and their loyal sons for ND to call on. He's on fire right now with the right kind of offers. I'd need to see more film from his Sr. year to be a buyer however.

Austin Jones who I doubted would ever visit ND, visited Stanford twice in the past week prompting Biggins and Huffman to join Wiltfong's CB to the Tree.
After those two CB's I've changed my mind about him visiting. Pretty clear he'll visit ND after all, twice.
