Any CB's swing in our direction on our host of visitors? Haven't seen a whole lot of feedback on how it went.

From everything I’ve read it was a huge success. I guess we’ll see what that translates into. Most of the 19’s were already committed or have other visits planed. So, probably don’t get a lot of movement there. Rouse and KAR could decide soon and I would think we helped ourselves in both those recruitments. Arguably the biggest impact will be on 2020 kids. It was an absolutely loaded group and seengingly really enjoyed by all. With that said, even the guys I think we lead for McGregor, Mills, etc. won’t be deciding anytime soon.

Rouse moved up his timeline to announcing soon, month's end even.

Class seems like it could fill by the end of the month.

Do we have any hope? He'd be such a great addition to this OL class. Would give us a ton of flexibility to mix n match.

Does anyone know if Josh Pakola will take and official to ND? I think not but didn't know if anyone had any insight.

Is he the only OL still being considered. What about Vimahi? Is there an option, a preference, or are both a possibility?

IMO, I would rather have Rouse. 3 reasons: I think he is super athletic and could even play SDE if needed. I think he will be a better LT candidate, even though we have Kristo this cycle. Vimahi is going to take a two year mission trip at some point and I am not a fan of holding scholly for someone who will not be around.

No idea what the staff thinks but I would rather have Rouse.

Vimahi is still an option as he just took his OV as well. However, there are a couple reasons I think ND favors Rouse. And I’d be shocked if they were willing to take both.

Same as most positions. They'd probably take a guy if they really like him. Otherwise gotta feel good about who they got. Kyren Williams has been balling out. Combined with a pretty exciting depth chart already on campus.

Manti said the same thing when coming to ND but he never took the 2-year trip. Doesn't always happen.

I read somewhere he will attend his freshman year and then do his two year mission or at least that's his plan.

The confidence they seem to have in Jafar Armstrong, in particular, makes the RB depth look a lot better the next couple of years. Still wouldn't mind a top-tier RB if we can get one. Worth taking another shot at Zach Charbonnet?

Zach Charbonnet would be nice but he seems pretty locked into Michigan. IMO I would rather have Derrian Brown but that is also a longshot at this point.

Hooper price visiting. We taking 3 WR now? Not sure I agree with that given the 2020 class.

Our two current WR commits have serious position flexibility. Cam Hart playing in the secondary or KAR playing RB wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Miles Boykin & Chris Finke will graduate after this season. They both start and play significant minutes so it seems unlikely they'd do anything else other than return to ND for a 5th year, but you never know with 5th years. Javon McKinley is like 28th on the depth chart and he's been passed up by everybody so he'd definitely be a transfer candidate, especially if he graduates early (no idea if that's a thing for him, but some guys have done it). Also, there are 5 freshman WR's. That's definitely overkill and someone will feel left out of that mix soon enough so they could just be preparing for that inevitability. Lastly, Notre Dame is in a spot where they are just taking the best guys regardless of position. Genson Hooper-Price fits the best player available mold and the staff clearly wants him.

I think this is more about keeping flexibility with the roster and board. Keep recruiting guys until the end. Never know what will happen
