The next scheduled visit for Hinish is to Notre Dame, which is yet to offer, and he sees a connection to the Irish.
"It's the tradition they have going on at Notre Dame," he said. "I used to love (former Irish linebacker) Manti Te'o, so I got to learn a decent amount about Notre Dame. It's pretry much the tradition of what they have going on there reminds me of what we have going on at Central."

Good news. He also picked up a S. Carolina offer recently but it sounds like it's a PSU / Pitt battle up till now. This is one of those guys who might drop ND as a dream school coming from a Catholic school in WPA.

Did it mention CJ Thorpe coming with them?

I've been keeping an eye on Hinish and Thorpe. Both good 2 way players for Central Catholic. Thorpe always throws ND in the conversation on who's in contact with him and he's got that nice 6-3, 300lb OG/DT frame.

Hinish looks like Garrett Rand or Rutger Reitmaier - For my man Lucky.

"It's a huge offer for me," McKinney said when asked about Notre Dame. "I'm committed to Alabama, but I'm still kind of looking around so I will probably take a trip to Notre Dame soon maybe for the Junior Day on March 19."

"[My parents] are excited like they are with most of the offers, but they want to take a trip and see what it's like," he added.

"I just want to give every school a chance," he said. "That's kind of what my parents want to do. Just look at everything."

According to Loy was at USC's Junior day and didn't get an offer. If they do Loy said he would CB him to USC.
