Isn't it awesome to see a legitimate two-deep with 10 healthy guys? And that doesn't include the studs coming in this summer.

This is probably going to happen, or at the very least it'll be clear that Morgan is substantially better than JS was last year and it's going to piss off a lot of people. To me, BVG seems to have blinders on and has his favorites. He's an old school coach and that's just how some of those guys are.

BVG can redeem himself this year with defensive play on the field but the jury is still out on him on the recruiting trail.

Nothing crazy, they just go through every position. Nothing surprising like 'holy cow', but just a lot of little pieces. If I summarized it it'd be the whole article basically.

Notre Dame Practice Report - April 1

From the article that Koon is too lazy to share any info from:

Folston/Adams splitting 1st team reps and Brent is looking good and is seeing more reps in 2nd team. Adams is putting on good weight and hasn't lost speed. Adams and Brent are first off the bus/Koon's Bod Squad.

Studstill seeing increased first team reps and Perry is seeing plenty of reps. The staff knows what they have in Redfield and they are trying to get film on the young guys.

Those are just two things that jumped out. A lot of the info is just observational who lined up where type of stuff. I'm happy to tell you what's in there on a particular guy or position if anyone wants to know.

He's with the 3s, but looks 'fast'. Like I said, they touched a little on everything but nothing surprising or to write home about, which is why I didn't try to summarize, just wanted those with 247 to check it out if they hadnt.

He's actually with the 2s and I don't see where it says he looks 'fast'. Actually the only place on the entire page the Sharpley uses the word 'fast' is in the comments when he's talking about the entitre roster.

Does anyone else think the Studstill elevation is less about Redfield and more about making sure we have a safety net if Refield goes down? From every highlight clip I've seen, Redfield looks very engaged and appears to be taking on a leadership role. I think come Fall, he'll be running the 1's and hopefully be a de facto captain if not an official one.

I'm not one to usually speak in definitives... but there has to be zero chance of a true freshman being a captain.

I was referring to Redfield, I don't see many other great candidates for defensive captain other than maybe Rochelle and Onwalu.
