Gingrich: Hillary Clinton broke law with foreign Clinton Foundation donations | PunditFact

Looks like it would have been an interesting test case.

To be clear, if HRC would have won, I would fully have expected her to severe all ties to the Clinton Foundation and either put her assets in a blind trust or into index funds and treasuries like Obama.

and let "bill run them".....

trump should absolutely do what is required
he's an idiot, but he's no fool. i'm sure he has a plan.

You have to laugh at the righteous indignation of entitled, arrogant liberals. It's particularly hilarious that Hamilton -the affirmative action musical- is lecturing anybody about the needs of "the diverse America." From what I have heard, there are more nonwhites on stage than in the audience. Most nonwhites cannot afford $800 a ticket.

This is just stupid. The "conversation" with Aaron Burr actor was just a lecture and wasn't necessary. The crowd was classless to boo him. DJT was dumb to say anything much less attack the people at the play. The only one that came out of this with any style points is Pence who was silent.

Yes! Classless.

Thought the actors speech was less a lecture and more a heartfelt plea from people who are terrified.

the audience shouldn't have booed

The irony of trump saying it should be a safe space is off the charts.

If they are terrified, then they should fucking educate themselves. It's embarrassing for the rest of the country that libtards are behaving this way.

IDK man when you have Trump advisors going on TV and citing Korematsu as good legal precedent it seems at least within the realm of reasonableness to be concerned.

No one is being put into fucking internment camps. Jesus. You are as bad as the idiot earlier in the thread worried that Trump was going to start nuking people for shits and giggles. Why don't you grow a pair of balls and distance yourself from these clowns?

You do realize that we have a system of government and checks and balances and existing laws and legal precedents, right? Not just a king that rules at his own whim.

The uninformed, mass hysteria from these hand-wringing crybabies reminds me of an incident from WWII. Japanese civilians on an island the US invaded near the end of the war were throwing themselves and their children off of bluffs to commit suicide. They'd bought into the propaganda from their government about how cruel and horrible the Americans would be.

Sounds like the actors should know their 800/ticket audience a bit better.

Also.... Heartfelt plea my ass. Just more lib smack talk to get publicity.

Free speech I get it, but this is just stupid. Can you imagine a conservative entertainer giving a heartfelt plea about the state of terrified whites in rural rust belt areas to an audience of urban blacks?

We all know (or most I think) there are opinions on both sides, which SHOULD BE RESPECTED. Asking for respect without giving any, or just plain feeding the current frenzy just plain won't get us anywhere.

I've seen for the last 8 years the libs pump their chests while continuously using "the people have spoken" as their logic for ignoring a large part of the population. Well that part of the population has taken a stand, and it's not about prejudice or white pride. It's simply folks got so tired of being ignored that they got their asses out and voted to remind the rest of the nation that they are here too and have their own story.

HRC being an unlikable turd is part of it, but the bigger part is Obama ignoring a large part of the nation. I think most folks that voted for Trump simply wanted to send a message. Had Obama toned down his arrogance and had an ear for those folks the last 8 years, or if the Dems could have put a better candidate in front of the people, it would be a different story. No need to blame anyone but your own party here.

Right now this nation is just like a teeter-totter. Obama teetered a little too much, to deep the last 8 years. Now it's time for the unavoidable totter. If Trump totters too much, you'll see another teeter in 4 or 8 years.

Hi.

What about a registry? Any problem with that?

It doesn't apply to citizens.

Trump was asked: "is there going to be a database that tracks the Muslims here in this country?"

"There should be a lot of systems, beyond database, we should have a lot of systems, and today you can do it," Trump responds. "But right now we have to have a border, we have to have strength, we have to have a wall. And we cannot let what’s happening to this country happen."

"But that's something your White House would like to implement?" the reporter presses.

"Oh I would certainly implement that. Absolutely." Trump answers.

Not a rhetorical question. What do you think is wrong with a registry and why would you be against one?

Here are a few

-Strategical: Furthers the notion that Muslims are under attack by the West, furthering the cause of ISIS etc, making it easier to recruit.

-Constitutional: Violates the 1st, and arguably 14th amendment.

-Unethical: Every citizen deserves equal treatment. Punishing the many due to the actions of a few. Before you say "no punishment", registration is flat-out an invasion of privacy. That is a punishment.

-Starts down a slippery slope. Registry -> Monitoring? -> Segregation? -> Internment? Who knows.
