247 lists him at 6'1" 215. Interested to hear Lucci's and others' thoughts as to where this guy projects on ND's defense. If its OLB, I'd much prefer Hansford or a beefed-up Spencer Perry.

Hard to judge off of his Junior tape since obviously Kelly and the staff saw something they liked in his senior tape.

From this tape, he seems like an undersized, very raw pass rush specialist. Isn't especially strong and his athleticism doesnt really flash like other undersized DE prospects such as Kolin Hill. Would have liked to have seen him more in coverage to really see how well he moves. He looks like a OLB off of these highlights.

Me too. I would rather have guys like Okeke, Morgan, Spencer, etc. that can move around and have more versatility.

Cant tell if he's unathletic or is just really slow at diagnosing plays. At the very least he has the frame to play SAM, but i'm not very impressed.

This offer is unrelated to Kemp (especially) and Jones, both of whom are completely different players and positional prospects than Badejo, who is an Edge hybrid specializing mostly in pass rush and upfield pressures. Kemp is a SDE/3-tech prospect and Jones a Mike LB prospect.

If anything in response to the typical worried refrains when a late-rising SR gets offered, based on new evals and notable development coinciding with needs and wants, it's a sign that it's good business to expand the board a bit at a position comprised of a few select, top targets, none of whom are clear and obvious ND leans. That's all.

I think it's more that the staff wants an instant impact pass rusher in this class. Hayes has positional flexibility, if we could grab another great pass rusher and keep Hayes at LB why wouldn't we?
