Damn that's a long time away. I always forget how much the off season drags on.

It sucks for us but it does allow some of the bumps and bruises to get heal so they can be healthy to get after it.

Is ND still talking about having the Blue and Gold game at Solider Field. I hope not. I prefer it on campus or in South Bend. Does anybody know the date of the spring game

This isn't the worst part. The period between Spring Ball and Summer Camp feels like a year.

I'm hoping that they play in Soldier Field, I'm going to be up in Chicago that weekend......Cubs have a home series that weekend as well, would make for an awesome weekend!!

Might be cool that it's in Chicago given that were going to have to fight harder than ever for local recruits. Might as well get as much exposure to Chicago as possible? But it also rule out visits to campus for the game so idk.

Large catholic population plus powerful schools there too. OSU had a spring game there before, it would be a great statement of intent if ND did schedule it there to say to Meyer and OSU that ND isn't backing down.

Lucas Oil sounds boring. Will look like 40 people are there. Outside of weather, I wouldn't be a fan.

Better than Soldier Field. We don't need to have back-to-back spring games on piece of sh*t patches of scorched earth.

That would be hilarious. They do have a nice new field (and school), but the stands would hold maybe a couple thousand and there'd be no room for any tailgating.

I mentioned it because just the other day, on NSD I believe, BK said when asked that he's still trying to keep it on campus he's just not sure how.

Ive heard soldier field may be in the works for the spring game. Would be plenty of room for tailgating and a nice reason to get out to Chi town. If they do this, I hope they push the time back to later in the day.

I would be all aboard the idea of having it a nice high school. Pack the house instead of going to a pro stadium and hearing echoes

Lucas Oil's capacity is about 67,000 (ND Stadium's capacity is 80,795). St. Joe's stadium holds 3,500. Attendance for the Blue and Gold Game is generally around 20,000.

How about Western Michigan?

-Turf
-Great size for the occasion (Over 30,000)
-Roughly an hour and half from South Bend
-Not competition, should be open to letting us use it. $$$$

What would be the possibility of a major venue opening facilities to ND for the Spring Game with regard to the traditional price point for Spring Game tickets? I am thinking that the cost for such an event may preclude almost every venue, just from the (lack of) revenue generated. Thoughts?
