BK presser at 2:00.
Fingers crossed for any Ishaq news
Is this an unplanned presser? Or is it part of a normal schedule? If unplanned, could be Ishaq/KVR related. Or with our luck, something worse, lol.

It's Media Day. Been scheduled for weeks, if not months. Is this an unplanned presser? Or is it part of a normal schedule? If unplanned, could be Ishaq/KVR related. Or with our luck, something worse, lol.

Something that no one brought up was how fun it was to say "Huuuuuuuuuuuughes" from the stands whenever he even looked at the ball. That's pretty important stuff. I'm hoping maybe we'll hear some "E-QQQQQQQQ" this year.
Do you guys think BK will play these younger guys? Or is this coach speak/motivational jargon?
If he warrants that accolade at the end of the year, then I'm sure we'll all be happy with the team.
Something that was brought up in a podcast and has me thinking is this: There are countless exceptions, but BK seems to prefer experience over raw talent. With that said, does anyone project ESB taking CRob's spot or Hunter/Sanders taking Amir's spot? I've heard multiple people say that CRob has been just "meh" (he certainly had some great catches last season, but also had some pretty bad drops)...meanwhile, ESB seems to be really impressing the coaches and onlookers. The same can be said about Amir vs the younger Hunter and Sanders. On the defensive side, you have Crawford working with the 1s at the position most of us pegged Farley to hold down.

I want to say that it's too early to tell, but at the same time, BK doesn't usually talk about young guys getting playing time unless it's a guarantee that they will.
I don't think ESB is stealing anybody's spot. I think CRob still plays in relief of Brown, as well as on the inside in trips formations just like he did last year. I think we'll see ESB get spot duty here and there to get his feet wet, and then maybe see him in the redzone along with CRob at times.
Crawford is going to play, but probably in obvious passing situations. I bet Farley still plays plenty as the base nickle on early downs, and we'll see Russell shift to that spot every now and again to get Coleman or Watkins on the field.
So it is coach-speak in a way (get the older guys to keep pressing; let the younger guys know that their work is being noticed), but it's also clear that the young guys that BK singles out WILL play.
I don't see ESB beating out Crob or Brown on an absolute basis. I think he may see some game reps but he won't become the #1 W WR.
I personally have always really liked Hunter Jr's game more so than Amir's and it really looks like he is making a run at that starting slot WR job. I don't think he'll completely remove Amir from the conversation but I really think he's becoming one of our best WR's.
We talked about this a week or two ago and Lax brought up another good point. In 2TE sets the slot comes off the field so its really Amir/Hunter Jr./Alize/Sanders. Of those 4, I think Hunter Jr. has the best shot to see the lionshare of reps.
Doesn't Hunter have the ability to play outside too?

Yea but I think Amir is the weakest link of the starting WR positions. You're not going to take Fuller off the field and Crob/Brown combination needs those snaps.
Why are CRob and Brown bunched together? Their games aren't that similar.
For the most part Fuller is at X, Crob and Brown are at W, and Amir/Hunter JR. etc. are at Z. Brown has had some run at X behind Fuller throughout camp so far but the majority of the reps he takes are at W, same goes for Crob.
Gotcha, thanks.
Is the presser sound quality pretty bad for anyone else?
Awful, and you can't hear any of the questions.Gotcha, thanks.
