Bunch of idiots in DC. How on earth do you take a SF over a guard with your roster? Should've kept Grant, no brainier.

So pumped for Grant. Not a great team now, but such a good spot for him.

Really pulling for Connaughton to go soon...

Hopefully tonight ends up being a huge recruiting boost for ND. 2 players drafted is pretty legit.

Maybe they don't like Otto Porter anymore?

I think it's more that Pierce is leaving so they need another player for the position, but they are bereft of talent at guard behind Wall/Beal and when they inevitably get hurt the wheels tend to fall off. Even when healthy, you can't be burning out Wall with 40+ minutes a night during the regular season. Grant was a perfect fit... he's a "can't miss" quality backup, which is what they need.

That may be true but there was already a run on guards.

He is a very fluid athlete for his size/length. Doesn't look oafy when he moves, despite the 7'6" wingspan. Looks to be in control like a point guard or someone that can win a dunk contest. Can elevate and he has a solid jump and three point shot. Strength and rebounding might be a concern initially, but he looks like he can bulk up.

At first, I was adverse to my team (The Knicks) taking him, but I have warmed up to the idea.

I hate to say that I was right, but I was right.

This draft class looks like it is going to be very good overall.

I love Kristaps so far. Other than getting into foul trouble every game he has exceeded all my expectations. He could be a superstar by his third season. Already averaging close to a double double.
