I see. I thought after the season, any coaches visiting counted as the 1 visit. I didn't realize each coach can have 1 visit. Sorry for partying.

I believe assistants can visit as many times as they like, the HC only gets 1 visit.

Jones,ESB,Plus maybe Farrar wow that could be a great finish by the way the season ended 3 top 300. I will take that.

How on God's green earth did THIS happen?

Mirko Jurkovic Jr. - Yahoo! Sports

At the time we had our OL recruited as we liked Tillery better at OT. Now that Tillery will be starting on the DL we reached back out to Mirko to gauge interest. Publicly he said he's 100% committed but it sounds like he's at least listening. He's on of a few OT's that we'll take or entertain the idea of taking down the stretch if they want on board.

The assumption is 25 with Prentice not qualifying and us adding the group above and an RB. Think of it more as ESB, RB, and S as whats left to fill.

Given his dad's contributions to ND, and recent death, there is NO WAY this kid should not have been offered a scholarship.

We're looking for a S prospect and he's not that. He had a chance early on to commit, he chose to wait, and we chose to take Ashton, Coleman, and Crawford.

This. Reid is a cornerback, and a tad overrated in my, and a few other's book. Crawford is definitely better, and I like the upside of White and Coleman. Both are insanely athletic and have the background of CB's.

I think Coleman is extremely athletic, but I don't see the same level of athleticism from White.

Perhaps it has something to do with his curriculum not matching up to NDs standards... Isn't IMG Academy basically a school where football prospects go to gain attention and have an easier path in the classroom?

Mirko is from South Bend and went to St. Joe (probably the most challenging school in Northern Indiana, academically) before going to IMG so I doubt grades were an issue for him

I actually think Reid and Crawford are very similar in terms of their size, athletic ability, and future potential. Both are smaller in stature, but explosive players and much better playing the run that you would think for someone their size. I especially like the way Reid hits bigger players low and wraps them up to bring them down. I think both Crawford and Reid have much higher ceilings than either of White or Coleman - it was a bit frustrating to me when we filled up instead of waiting on Reid who at the time seemed like he may be leaning to ND or at least 50/50 with Penn State at the time. I guess the staff didn't want two corners in the class below 5-10.

For me, athleticism goes beyond simply just speed. In terms of that, Coleman has White beat significantly, but White has the ability to adapt and overcome. He has extremely good wheels, and can turn on a dime. Not elite speed, but he can hold his own. He is a textbook tackler and has the size to play corner or safety. Whether that translates to the next level remains to be seen. He could be the next Isaiah Lewis or he could be the next Eilar Hardy.

I wasn't referring to athleticism as just speed.

So there are 5 official visitors per Wilfong.

I know of Vaughn, Dexter Williams, and Nathan Meadors.

Does anyone know the other two?
