The staff has definitely used this as an opportunity to get in front of 2015 kids. And I think its because the staff has a pretty fixed idea of who they want and those visits have been set or are in the process of being set for the 2014 class. The staff visited a majority of our 2014 prospects this week with a lot of the uncommitted ones coming for an official next weekend. After the USC weekend I think we'll have a better understanding if we need to put out more offers or just close the guys we're already on.

this means that ND is about to flood recruits w/ offers and mail....i posted this in the 2015 thread because we wouldn't be flooding recruits w/ mail now that 2014 is closing up soon

The 247 composite ranking they are using has Beneventi higher than Barnett. That certainly doesn't last long.

The 247 composite ranking only has one player from Indiana and he is the #248 (out of 250) players.

I think he likes us and we are in his top 3 at the moment, but haven't heard rumblings of his commitment yet. Is there news out there that implies otherwise? Would love him being Irish. Would love to see all those 5 guys be Irish for that matter, but I think it's a bit early to call Hilliard and Cornell for us. Plus I think their recruitment will go a while longer. Just my take on it.
