Loy tweeted a couple of days ago that he would be posting some crystal ball predictions for ND for the class of 2015. The only one that I saw he posted recently is Evan Mallory, an OG from IN. Evan isn't ranked on 247, so I was wondering if anyone has any info on him? His timeline says he attended Both ND's and UofM's camp.

Seems a strange offer to me. Kid says he doesn't really know much about Notre Dame and his 3 favourites are the in state teams. Says he plans on going to pretty much every Miami game this season.

Can't really understand why we've offered him (6th best CB according to the composite) and not Minkah Fitzpatrick (3rd best), Brian Cole (10th best) and Garrett Taylor (12th best) who all seem to have much higher ND interest at this point in time.

I suppose the staff might see him as an elite prospect in this class so I'll defer to their superior talent evaluation and recruiting skills.

Notre Dame is high on his list. They talk about Notre Dame a lot (Iman and his dad)

Likes how prestigious the school, athletically and academically

Will definitely be taking a visit at some point

Some people have said USC and UCLA are the favorites. He has no favorites and isn't ready to list any favorites

From a report on BGI, it sounds like if we offered Mykelti Williams out of Warren Central (Sheldon Day) we would be tough to beat.

We're projected to be 7/8 for Safety depth heading into 2015. If JuJu Smith or some other elite S wants in, we may end up at 8/8. I doubt he gets an offer.

Offers mean nothing. It only means a school has shown interest. And most schools float offers to recruits these days simply because it is important to recruits that the school showed interest early.

Is this kid for sure a safety prospect though? He is listed at 5'11" so maybe really 5'10" right now. Still plenty of time to grow but not sure about the measureables. Could he be a CB prospect or hybrid prospect?

Names to watch per Wiltfong at QB (besides Beneventi & Gibson): Brady White, Josh Rosen, Kevin Dillman, & Lorenzo Nunez

I'll also add that Kelly has told Gibson that he'll get his first chance at QB. Gibson really likes that because a lot of people are already talking about him playing another position. IMO, he has insane upside if he works hard over the next two years.

Interesting that there's no mention of James Morgan or Drew lock. Both seem to be ranked quite highly and very interested in ND.

I dont see any legit interest in ND from Josh Rosen. I know its early, but he is basically the Chryst of that class. He will stay out West between Cal, U$C, UCLA, and maybe even Stanford (though they are loaded at the QB position, so he may not want to go there).
