CondomnSuck and I are going to the ND/Michigan game this year (don't judge him for hanging with kuehnja, he's a good guy, lol). And talked about being at this game. Ending sucked, but one of my favorite moments is the entrance, and I can't wait to see a version of this against at the Michigan game.

I dare you to watch this and NOT do 100 pushups in the next 8 seconds... one handed... on a bed of nails.

I love Manti Teo. And fuck Michigan.

Kelly is standing there stoically, but you know inside he's as jacked as the players.

I'm not sure the night rule is always in effect, but there certainly could be something said for a number of less talented teams at night. Pitt always plays us tough, and that often ends up as a late game when it's in Pittsburgh. Boston College has played us close in late games. Purdue certainly qualifies, although they can play spoiler in an afternoon game as well. I do think other teams get motivated for prime time games, while to us it's just another contest perhaps.

Yep

Is it just me or does ND do better against the "better" teams on the schedule when the game is not a night game?

Under Kelly during the regular season we are 20-6 during day games and 15-7 during night games. It must be noted, that we have only played 3 home games at night, and only 2 road and 2 neutral site games during the day. Of the 22 night games, 3 were at home (2-1), 4 were neutral/Shamrock site (4-0), and 15 were on the road (9-6). I think any night struggles can be attributed to a rowdy, hostile crowd more than ND not showing up to play.

2013
--Day games: 5-1
--Night games: 3-3
2012:
--Day games: 6-0
--Night games: 6-0
2011:
--Day games: 5-1
--Night games: 3-3
2010:
--Day games: 4-4
--Night games: 3-1

Night games tend to be prime time match ups, tougher opponents mean more losses. I would be curious to see the SoS rankings next to the stats you are pointing out.

You see, I think night games are an advantage. I get so much more pumped up for a night, prime time game, than just a reg midday, game. I imagine the guys feel the same. The energy level is so much more. When everyones watching, you usually give your best.

I'm pretty sure someone's visiting March 20th, and I thought it was a WR, but I did a quick search and didn't see one of them as coming.

That's not an advantage because the other team has the same effect.

It has been rumored since the first practice that Will Mahone broke his foot. Feel bad for the kid, just can't stay healthy.

No idea what the deal with Lombard is.
