I'm watching Jarron Jones. Interesting stat pull from II today. Jones finished with 20 tackles last season. Nix finished with 27. I in no way shape or form believe that is a position that you judge based on tackles but its a start. I'll also add that Chris Brown is the leading WR heading into Spring Practice, haha.

Want to see what happens at every LB position besides DOG. Will Deeb and Kendall Moore step up? Will Okwara beat out Ishaq for CAT?

His body of work for his first year was promising. He also blocked a couple kicks to boot. I agree he is one to keep an eye on.

Can't wait for some real football news. There's a lot up in the air, and I'm excited to see who wins out.

I want to see how Golson looks coming back. Reesus was such a gunslinger out there last year, I want to see if Golson can even come close.

Things I want to see:
-Does Golson have an accurate deep ball? Or does he still struggle?
-Who steps up at returner? Hunter? Prosise? Carlisle?
-Who rises to the top on the OL?
-Who steps up at TE behind Koyack?
-Who gets the nod at ILB?
-Who wins the battle at safety?

There are actually just 14 practices between the 3rd and the Spring Game. The Spring Game counts as the 15th practice.

I'd also like to see which young WR develops quick chemistry with Golson. DD seemed to have it best with him before, but with him absent from spring practice the young guys will all have a shot.

I most want to see what kind of defense we run and how we run it.
What Golson's improvements look like and if they make a better talent with the "science" of playing qb?
What the rb situation looks like leaving camp and if GB has picked up the offense
Who steps up as slot receiver?
What ILB looks like?
And who steps up as the second corner

I don't think he's on the roster yet

One of the most intriguing springs in a long time, there is virtually no position group that isn't riddled with questions and possibilities. Very excited about that and the potential for the next couple of years.

Coaches must be licking their lips.

I think Luke could step up and be the true outside corner, while Riggs will be the nickel corner.

You sir, are correct.

But after some more thought, I think this is probably the more likely scenario

I think Luke will be given the spring to show what he can really do. If in fact he shows capable of doing it at a high level I see it playing out this way. If not it opens the door for Riggs. I do think we'll see a 3rd CB playing a lot though, whoever it is, based on scheme.

- what role does Bryant play in the return game?
- does Hunter look as good as BK insinuated?
- does Deeb grab a starting ILB role?
- are we much faster on D (one could argue that Nix, Tuitt and KLM are all being replaced by faster players)?
- what changes does BVG bring to the defensive scheme?

I think Riggs is going to make it tough for Luke to start even if he gets the spring reps.

If Okwara was trying to get up to 275, what would that tell us about his position next year?

The biggest things I'm looking forward to in the spring:

1- Zaire actually pushing Golson for the QB spot.
2- Bryant showing he is capable of being the breakout back.
3- Which WR takes the #1 by the balls.
4- If Koyack does indeed have potential enough to be the next ND tight end to make a splash
5- BVG and his new look on defense (which I'm fairly sure we wont actually see until game 1)
6- Who takes the MLB spots? Will Morgan come in and start as a freshman?
7- Is Luke the opposite man?
8- Who takes the reigns as the return man? And will it even matter?

So many questions!!!
