I'm not sure you analyzed that 10 second Vine properly. Brent will clearly be All American #29 on this team this year. /noitalics

I know, people really overrate the amount of talent we have every year. And when I say people, I mean the NFL. ;)

Last year we produced 5 first day draft picks, matched only by LSU. Those dumb teams only drafted 4 from Ohio State and FSU, and 3 from Alabama and Auburn.

Tuittt and NIx, maybe, but I was thinking Zach Martin? Troy Niklas? Chris Watt? You sound like all those IE homers!

Reps, sir! Your post is fraught with irony!

Huh? We had 5 picks in the first 3 rounds, but only 1 pick the first day.

My favorite part of the practice vid was the athleticism Chris Brown showed making the catch over KVR. It felt like he jumped about 5 feet in the air.

I'm pretty excited to see Irish CB's play closer to line of scrimmage than 8-10 yards.

Cant wait till they put the pads on.

Go Irish!

Imagine Robinson when he master's getting off press coverage, which I believe is one of his weak points at this moment. He isn't able to defeat press very often and is contested quite a bit, but still comes up with the grab more often than not.

We need to hang half a hundred on them.

I might honestly be disappointed if we don't. They shouldn't have a single secondary member that can hang with our top 7 receivers: Fuller, Daniels, Brown, Robinson, Carlisle, Prosise, Hunter Jr.

Feel free to argue with that list.

Also, they shouldn't be able to stop the run either. But it's the first game and there are nerves to be worked out and it can take a while to get in the flow.

I'll give them a cushion. 47 pts. No less.

They are Rice and obviously lack the overall talent, but they've got some talented players, especially on defense.

DT Christian Covington (CANADIAN!!!!!) with 24 TFLs & 10 sacks in two seasons, and CB Bryce Callahan, who has eleven career interceptions. Both players are rated highly in the draft scouting community, especially Covington.

Not saying they'll shut us down, but it won't be a walk in the park either.

Rice is not god awful. Kept up with TAMU in the first game. Decent record. Got pushed around in the bowl by MissSt. We need to spank them. All 2 and 3 star talent the last 4 to 5 recruiting cycles. They have increased their 3 star quantities the last 2 cycles. 55-24

I'm pretty upset that BVG has a goatee.

Lot's of explosive potential with some of the offensive players.

I'm always jacked up about this time, but this year they seem to look sharper, faster, etc.. Am I the only one, or is it just the same koolaid, different year.

I'm with ya. I have a koolaid mustache from all that I've been drinking. I always want to temper my expectations, but I seem to fail around this time every year.
