I understand that it's week one and they have to introduce the freshman that are playing to the viewers, but ESPN is going way over the top IMO talking about freshman and recruiting during their game broadcasts today.

I like how CBS/NBC will mention it, but not talk about it all game long. Give the sophomores, juniors, seniors some love. They're fixated on the next 'sexy' thing.

Rant over.

Agreed!! ESPN treating Nkemdiche like Clowney.

It's early, but super impressed by the speed of Ole Miss's secondary. They have a lot of athletes.

Nkemdiche should be playing 3-4 DE. To big for 4-3 DE.

Absolutely, he's a prototypical 3-4 DE. I also think Lynch is better suited as a 4-3 DE and will be a beast playing at a lighter weight this year. Could have been a solid 3-4 DE at ND but is better as a pure pass rusher.

I don't remember what the title is of the old thread where people post things they wouldn't normally admit, but since you mentioned him I'll put it here.
I still have a huge man FB crush on Lynch. I know everyone is pissed he left and **** him and all that, and I understand all that. But, I still have a huge CFB man crush on him. He was the first recruit I ever really paid attention to prior to him being on the field.

I think Lynch should be playing 4-3 DE at 270lb considering that he is 6'6". I can't imagine why the coach would want him at 244lb. He wasn't holding any bad weight at 270lb.

I didn't realize he was that light. I just thought he would have been better playing at 260 or so and utilizing his speed than trying to beef up to 290-300.

244 is small for a college DE no matter what system you are playing in.

Vandy is beating Ole Miss, scoring 21 straight points.

Lynch, even at 244 lightweight, is going to wreak havoc on poor American Conference OTs.

F Ole Mi$$ and F ESPN for constantly talking about their recruits the whole time. Im ready for some NBC this saturday. Has anyone else felt like theres been a decent amount of background noise behind the announcers in this ole miss game. It just seems like their voices are kinda soft compared to the crowd and other sounds. Could just be me tho

Not disagreeing with you, but, man, that freshman class for Ole Miss is ridiculous and already paying dividends. Conner with an INT on the first drive, Nkemdiche looks like a future star, as does Treadwell.

Watched Conner several times in high school. He could end up being really good if he keeps progressing. The kid was a beast.

USC went for it on 4th and 4 at the Hawaii 26 and Kessler actually made a nice throw on the run but it was dropped by Marquise Lee

Great I wasn't hearing this before but now its all I am hearing and it is driving me nuts. Every chance they get, "#1 recruit in the country this, #1 WR in the country that."
