2012 Purdue - scUM game

Anyone have a feeling on this game? As much as I would like Michigan to go on a losing streak, recruits to jump ship, hoke fired, and ann arbor swallowed by a giant fissure, Purdue just didnt seem speedy enough on D to shut down Denard. I have a feeling that Denard will put the team on his back and pull out 1-2 score win--possibly propelling them back into the rankings (assuming ND and Bama win).

If Notre Dame can get by Miami and Purdue beats Mich its going to say alot. So far Purdue has played the Irish heads up the best. If this scenario happens it solidifies Notre Dame as a serious top 10 team. The voters will take notice.

Purdue is at home though, so in reality they are 6 point dogs. +3 for home field, -6 for UM.

Michigan will have trouble with their dline and Rrob will throw at least one pick to Purdue's underrated secondary.

I see it as a low scoring toss up. scUM finds a way to sqweek by in those situations. I'm hoping they don't though.

FYI.

As a Boilermaker, I thought I'd let ya know that our fall break is this weekend. People are trying to get rid of their student tickets left and right. I'm expecting a good portion of the student body at least to not be here.

Idk if that factors much into the game or not, just some food for thought.

if they can generate good enough pressure, they have a chance to win. Interestingly enough, Michigan doesn't usually play as hard against traditionally weaker big ten opponent than they play us. There have been instances in the past where this happened. I guess we will see. Besides, this Purdue team is not bad at all.
