Dude has some long strides. He really doesn't look that fast though. But when you are taking 5 foot strides and everyone else is doing 3 foot it makes you look good.

I'm gonna be honest, I think he looks disgustingly fast. But if we're recruiting him as a DB, I'm not sure those long strides are a desirable trait.

His strides honestly remind me of Megatron at GT. Go back and watch some of those highlights and Megatron had that same stride.

I think that is why ND recruited guys like KAR, Cam Hart, Bracy, Avery Davis, etc. Position flexibility. If they really love Henderson regardless of position, they should have still pushed for Malcolm Greene, who can play both corner and safety.

Just hope Henderson (and KAR and Hart) wind up more like Bracy than Davis, who's apparently so position-flexible he'll never get established at one.

The curse of being uber talented.

I think KAR is going to be the Avery Davis type. With the talent/depth at WR and RB for next year and the lack of experience/depth at corner, how does he not move? Avery Davis should probably move back to corner as well.

The curse of being uber talented.

And yet not quite talented enough to consistently see the field at any of them.

I'm all for position flexibility, and flipping a kid once from, say, RB to CB (or vice versa) can make a ton of sense. BK has a long and successful history of that. But when you've got a guy learning a different position every year he's probably never going to be more than a role player, and that's kind of too bad. Because, like you say, Davis is a great athlete.

I want KAR and his speed at WR. We need playmakers there. Watch the LSU-Alabama game and the running backs and the receivers playing there. They are on a totally different level. Get our speed at the offensive skill positions.

I agree with KAR sticking on offense. that kid should just be an OW (Offensive weapon).

As for Mr. Henderson get him on campus and see where the chips may fall.

Apparently Stage 4 Fresanoma is contagious and more widespread in the Central Valley than previously thought.

It's been widespread for a while. Our doctors just keep thinking they have found the cure, but when they are in the final stages of their controlled tests something always goes wrong. It's like coming into the lab in the morning and finding one rat dead. Rinse and repeat.

Kelly, Lea, and Polian will be doing an in-home on Wednesday, per Loy. He also still feels good about his CB prediction. Sounds like he will announce on Dec 20, which is the last day of the 3 day early signing period.

Waiting for the final day? Need to build some drama and suspense?

Per Loy, the in home visit couldn't have gone better and Loy feels confident in his cb prediction. He's still mulling visits but Loy doesn't believe those visits will happen. Terry Joseph will be visiting him next week.

so, what do we think? obviously mega fast, good size. but are the long strides a legitimate cause for real concern for him as a DB prospect? is he coming in as an ATH ala Wilkins?
