Alexander was in to see my #1 '20 RB, Bijan Robinson and my #1 '20 S, Lathan Ransom on Thursday. Hopefully ND can get some traction here.

Robinson is on pace for his second 2000 yd season and Ransom has 9 Int's and 4 PR TD's in his Soph and Jr seasons so far.

Looking forward to seeing them if/when they come to the Valley during the playoffs. Could be set for a title game re-match with Saguaro.

Gotta like it. Wish it was sooner and wish they'd have dropped a double offer for him & his teammate Bijan Robinson. I think Ransom is one of just 2 or 3 safeties in '20 that are in Hamilton's tier.

Now, if Savy Jack would send me the ND Platinum Visa... by kick off of the Navy game I'll have Ransom, Robinson & Baker committed plus Jake Smith flipped. I'm off all week and ready to make moves.

Haven't seen his film yet. Will watch today. Any players he compares to?

Watched his sophomore film and he is a good athlete. Looks like he plays better towards the line of scrimmage but also has good ball skills. I think he could play either of the safety positions. Seems to be more Gilman than Elliot IMO. He also has a Stanford offer so he's a smart kid. Like I said, he could play either safety position. Definitely think he should get a ratings bump. Should be a consensus 4 star. 247 ranked him as a 3 star.

This kid is the next Kyle Hamilton. ZERO doubt.

Had 8 tackles, 1 TFL, allowed O receptions, had 3 receptions for 45 yds on 3 targets. This is going up vs a Saguaro squad that has @ 30 DI prospects, (22 have DI offers right now. lol). Saguaro gave him his respect and went away from him all night

Ransom and Phillips should be Job 1a & 1b in '20's DB class and unless Kellee Ringo shocks me, it should stay that way to the finish line.

I don't disagree. But sometimes, people outgrow a spot or a situation comes along where you want the best guys on the field and it someone has to move.

Early on, I had a good feeling. As I said elsewhere in another thread, I no longer do. That can change with a good visit, I'm not betting on it. The 7v7 squad he joined out of Phoenix, 2020 Elite is an ego driven, hype monster built for social media recruiting that's more OSU/SC than ND. I think he'll enjoy the process until the end.

The OSU CB was from Lorenz/Mich. Fong backed off his Stanford and went ??? Demetric Warren's Stanford CB is from July.

Really liked speaking to Gilman and mentioned depth chart. At OSU today, but it appears the Irish set them up to be hard to beat. Of course we could see the same comments after his OSU visit.

When you have back 2 back visits to places you’re highly considering then you will probably get some CB’s after the visit when someone gets some insight. Only Steve Lorenz has a CB for Ohio State in. Steve Wiltfong, Tom Loy, Kevin Sinclair, Bill Kurelic, Andrew Ellis, and Bill Greene haven’t put any sort of judgement into the recruiting with their CB’s and I imagine within the next week someone will get something out there. I think ND did all they could from every coach spending time with him and his family and BK being around him a ton during the weekend. If they lose the recruitment it wasn’t for a lack of trying. I hope he leans towards ND after the weekend.

A couple of write-ups on both Ohio State and Notre Dame's visits. I think ND did well for itself this weekend, but the "good vibes" at Ohio State might win out. From a reading perspective it seems like ND won this weekend in terms of visits, but recruits rarely give away where they are heading based on an interview right after a visit. I think we'll see some more accurate results of this visit in the next few days.
