I'm not generally a fan of the theatrics, but the [recruit] (pot) of gold and the end of the rainbow does have some appeal.

I hope so, we've had some serviceable d-line over the last few years but you need elite talent at these positions to be elite IMO. If I was ranking most important position groups for how football is played today it would be something like:

1) D-Line
2) O-Line
3) QB
4) D-Line again
5) D-Backfield

This is such a huge get by the staff. I was afraid that local pressure might keep him in state(UT, A&M, TCU), but it seems this young man knows what he wants and knows where he wants to go. The D Line recruiting is really strong, and bodes well for future Irish defense.
And being an EE will be even better...get him acclimated to SB winter right off the bat.

I like both quite a bit. Haven't heard/read to much on Soli's interest, so not sure how much of a shot we have there. Looks like we'll be getting our chance with DiCosmo a lot sooner

Yea, he probably lacks ideal length but he's a quick twitch prospect for sure. Stanford leads as of now, but he hasn't taken his UM or ND visits yet. Also, they are recruiting him as an ILB, which is a position he isn't very familiar with. I wonder if that ultimately has any influence on his decision.

Finally listened to ISD’s Power about from two Monday’s ago. They talked about future positions for each 2019 commit. Unanimous that Nana is a future 5T or SDE.

So he plays drop until he gets too big and then moves to SDE? We better start recruiting drop harder then.

That's the kind of thing that'll make him a 1st round pick if he develops. That skillset is coveted on every level of competition.
