It's Jafar's job to lose, but I expect Kyren to be pushing for the #1 spot.
A 3 headed RB committee of Kyren, Jafar, and Tyree looks good to me. I think Kyren will have more TD's than Jafar.
Call me crazy, but I like C'Bo to eventually become the lead back this year.

You are crazy. I see C'Bo as a solid #3 or #2 at best. I like the kid though, he runs hard.
I don't think your crazy. I couldn't call anyone crazy really. I think the competition should be wide open. I do believe Jafar was impeded by his injury last season, maybe more than we thought at the time. However, what he put on film should not make him the de-facto #1 RB. Point is, I don't think it's crazy to think any of these guys could be the #1.
I agree with you regarding Jafar. I hate to say someone with his talent did terrible, but it was hard to watch his lack of athleticism while knowing it’s in there somewhere. As for C-Bo, I honesty think he does have pop if he gets the opportunity to show it somedayJafar may have been rushed back last year, he was obviously not 100% healthy, but seriously, he was TERRIBLE. Hopefully the injury was a serious impediment because if it wasn't, yikes. C'Bo can get a hard yard, but little more than that. I'm really not sure what we have in Jahmir. Seems obvious to try to get Tyree some touches in space next year, but he probably won't be getting too much volume. I would love to see Kyren shoot up the depth chart.
Also, I asked this in another thread but got no answer. We still going after Trevor Speights?
maybe i'm in the minority but i liked what i saw from jahmir....he ran hard and showed decent vision in his limited reps.....running backs need to get in a rhythm and i feel we split the reps so much no one has a chance to get into one....
williams showed us nothing as he got 4 total handoffs
jafar-tries to run lateral and shows absolutely no burst to run like that....it's a common thing for high school running backs nd his lack of experience makes me feel this is one of the reasons he does this but also some of the stretch plays we runw/ him doesn't help
c'bo i thought was ok, he needs to get bigger because he looked like a little kid out there and he isn't a burner
Moving Jafar back to WR wouldn't be a bad idea, he was brought in as a WR. Barring injuries and not being the lead back for ND he hasn't done anything mind blowing.
Autry Denson must've seen something in C'bo during the recruiting process. I like him at returning kick offs.
Jahmir has been a solid back up for ND and I think that is his role; barring any injuries.
Kyren and Tyree are the wild cards and I like them has a 1-2 punch.
Yeah, he was available and willing to commit...

Seen some pictures recently where he’s looking pretty cut up. Und.com has him at 205, down from 216 which I think is a great sign. Get that burst and quickness back. Classic case of a young guy bulking up too fast. Really want to see this guy play
I agree with you I really want to see him play as well. I think he is a diamond in the rough. ND put him back at kick returns last year in the games he played. Do you like him full time there this year?
I think he could certainly do well there. I guess we'll have to see who the other options are.
I'd love to see Lenzy or Tyree back there. We haven't had a game breaker since GAIII. Crawford flashed but got a case of the fumbles and couldn't be trusted.
Also interested to see who is returning punts now that Finke is gone. Again, I vote Lenzy.....
I'd love to see Lenzy at KR and Tyree at PR, assuming Tyree has safe hands. PR is more about shiftiness than pure speed, plus you're more defenseless. Don't think Lenzy has the build to withstand too many free shots.
but finke was? very very rarely is a ncaa football player getting crushed on a pr
HANDS and decision making are the #1 thing BK has chosen when he has put a guy there
He was shorter but decently built. I'm not saying the PRs are always getting rocked by full speed guys while standing still but I still don't want the skinniest guy on our team given the task that is most prone to fumbles, etc. It's not like KR where he's gonna get the chance to reach full speed every time.

I’m drawing a blank. I don’t ever remember Crawford returning kicks. Are you thinking of CJ Saunders?
