My cousins next door neighbor is dating Julian and he comes from a grade A family and Julian is awesome. Been a minute since I've seen them so I'm sure Michael has grown up.

No 247 reported offers...but he did attend Ball State's junior day back in January...

I feel like he is an easy pwo

I can guarantee that won’t happen. The offers are coming, but he has a few issues to get through first. After camp season Michael will have more than a few offers. He needs to blaze his own trail and go do what’s best for Michael. Like Julian he grew up an ND fan and would die for an ND offer but that’s probably not gonna happen even though Michael is absolutely good enough to play high d1 ball. He’ll probably end up at a Mac and have a very nice career. He’s constantly compared to Julian and that would only continue at ND and to be honest just isn’t fair to Michael. The size sadly just isn’t there for Michael.

Agreed. Great kid, and I hope he gets a shot somewhere.

BTW, are you a fellow Roadrunner Alum? I graduated in 1986 (boy that is a long time ago!)

Top Performers: The Opening Regional Ohio

Slot receiver prospect Michael Love out of La Grange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy was a highlight machine on Saturday using his combination of speed, quickness, ball skills and leaping ability to roast defensive backs or dominate them in 1-on-1 situations. The younger brother of Notre Dame defensive back Julian Love, the 5-foot-8, 170-pound Love turned heads with several exciting plays. A 2019 recruit, Love tested well including a 4.63 laser-timed 40-yard dash with a 4.10 shuttle and 35-3 inch vertical leap.

Not sure that's what you're looking to offer a scholarship for. PWO with the opportunity to earn one perhaps, but other than that I just don't see offering making that much sense.

You’re definitely entitled to your opinion but why?

Don’t like his size much. Yeah he’s quick, but a ton of 5’8 guys are. Nothing against him or his play, but I think in this cycle ND is going to be a little more selective at WR and CB. Looking at 1 more CB and 2 WR’s max in this class. I just don’t see him being one. If he is I think that may be a bad sign as to how they finish at those positions. Those numbers for the positions are my assumption, not a fact and could be tweaked depending on where Joe Wilkins winds up after camp.

Fair enough, I don’t agree with a lot of it but you’re certainly entitled to your opinion. You’re hung up on the size and I can’t blame you. I never felt that ND would be a real option for Mike due to size but as this thing continues on who knows. Michael continues to dominate every where he goes, most recently some big name DB’s on Cam Newton’s 7on team. ND should probably be more selective at WR than someone Mike Love’s size but do you feel good about landing ANY ‘19 WR right now? ND perhaps keeeps stringing Michael along because they don’t have the attention of any of the WR’s higher on their board. The more WR’s that we scratch off the list, the closer Mike gets to an offer that he’d walk on hot coals for. Not too long ago everyone else underestimated another Love.
