There’s a lot of talk we’re getting a commitment this weekend, might be Carter. This is in addition to Teddy R
His loss. Rhode Island is awesome. Way cooler than Indiana. But either way he should spend a couple years in South Bend and try it out.I think he is from Florida.
It sounds like he didn’t really like Rhode Island.
Love to see it
2 years. How much eligibility would he have?
Didn't they already do this with Hartman?Dropping bags on proven college talent is a much better strategy than for your generic top 50 HS recruit. Think I owe the admin an apology if they can pull this off.
Throw in an Awful Awful, a Federal Hill pizza from Casertas and clam chowder from the Black Pearl in Newport.Give the kid some coffee cabinets, Autocrat coffee syrup, Olneyville NY System wieners, and some Dell’s lemonade and he’s a lock. Rhode Islanders will know what I’m talking about.
I spent many years at the University of Rhode Island--undergraduate and graduate degrees plus time on the faculty.Charlie Bailey Gates is the only person I know of from Rhode Island
Agreed on both accounts.Dropping bags on proven college talent is a much better strategy than for your generic top 50 HS recruit. Think I owe the admin an apology if they can pull this off.
This could be huge not just this but for next year also.
I don’t know if 1 year of balling out will get him drafted. Hopefully 2 years can get him in day 1 or 2If he’s good he won’t be playing college ball next year

Carter was set to leave Notre Dame on Friday and head straight to Baton Rouge for his official visit, but that trip never happened despite LSU having a car service waiting outside The Gug.
After seeing Ole Miss, Wisconsin and Notre Dame, the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder informed Marcus Freeman he didn’t need to see more and a Notre Dame staffer called LSU and walked out to inform the car service that services were no longer needed.
