No info, pure guess he’s probably on campus now…

According to ISD he’s been on campus since yesterday and is leaving later today. Met with Freeman, Rees and Swarbrick

This is not even close to accurate from what the reporters have said and Buchner's general disposition. It's not even funny when it doesn't really match the scenario or the people involved.

I am sorry you don't find Bet MGM's joke funny that happened to give me a chuckle.

If I'm Buchner, I would still stick around. Hartman could go down in game 2 and Buchner would start anyway. Anything can happen, including injury or even winning the starting job in spring/fall. Even if he doesn't win the job, he'll still likely play in some capacity throughout the season, and by 2024 he'll be the guy.

I think he sticks, at least for a year. Imo, he is not a legitimate P5 starter, but as a backup, and change of pace guy, he is of value. Ultimately, I think he ends up at a Group of 5 school in 2024, though. I think there are programs at that level where he could really thrive with his athleticism.

Fun Fact Hartman has passed for over 300 yards the last two years in each game against Clemson

Clemson really didn't have any business winning that game in Winston-Salem. Wake outplayed them and Hartman balled out. DJ Uiagalelei played out of his mind. similar to South Bend in 2020, but Hartman still outplayed him. 20/29, 337 (11.6 YPA), 6TDs, 0INTs.

Based on his comments leading up to the Gator Bowl I agree, he's not going anywhere, at least not until after 2024.

If Minchey &/or Carr surpass him, I wouldn't be surprised if he grad transferred, but I guarantee you ND will have a package for him next season, and he'll only be one snap away from being the starter again, with a chance to start again in '24. He's staying put.
