II had talked about bringing in a grad transfer on the DL recently. Guess this addresses the size questions.

Prister's film review is quite positive. Seems like we may have picked up a really nice player here!

Huh. That's neat. Interior DL a little thin and good opportunity for the guy. If he was all-Ivy League he's probably pretty solid player.

I assume he is going to play 0/1 tech?
Much needed NT depth I would think. While Lacey has been getting high praise and it's great to hear nice things of Onye, I don't believe either Onye or Rubio or ready for primetime. This gives NT a quality 1-2 punch.

Cool beans. Gonna be very glad to have him by the Stanford game at the very latest.

Well this could start a row, really rocking the boat it seems.

Reading up on him, it looks like he's here to stuff the run. A little undersized for a NT, but makes up for it with quickness off the ball. Also has quick lateral movement. Could improve his pass rush.

Singer thinks he will only be here a year, but he might have two years of eligibility left. Would be nice if that’s the case.

No reason to think they aren’t working on WR transfers either given how swiftly relative to his stature Joseph was and how quietly this was done

I was just about to say the same thing they have to be going after 1-2 WR's I think every other position we are pretty deep even though we had that RB from Indiana visiting.

Chris went to Cranbook. Just like Clarence "Papa Doc".

Huh? He’ll arrive in June unless I’m missing something
Basically I'm thinking that even if he's "depth" behind Lacey or others, that he'll be extremely useful by midway through the season when guys are banged up.

You can never, ever, ever have too many defensive linemen.

We’ll have to see what he looks like on the field given how the last non P5 transfer went but it’d assume this is like a 15 - 30 snap type expectation from Week 1. Backup NG isn’t really a backup in the end.

Definitely like that it means Cross likely stays at DT and you can just work on Rubio/Onye for remaining NG depth.

I would imagine he immediately jumps into the two deep behind Lacey.

Gopher Hole kinda upset. Not fans of The Irish. They are blaming NIL money amongst other things.
