Nice pick up for the Boilers, the kid has speed, and will be a nice fit in Brohm's hurry up offense.

When was the last time a kid committed to Purdue at an All American game?

John Wooden

Watch out for Moore's QB in this class, Jack Plummer. He's Jake Plummer's kid.

6-5/215, great production but overshadowed by guys on bigger/better teams in AZ like Tyler Shough (Oregon), Brock Purdy (Boise), Spencer Rattler ('19 OU) Jacob Conover ('19 Bama Offer). ASU has no room for a QB this cycle and AZ used run heavy dual threats so that hurt him. Jeff Brohm got a steal and the Plummer's got a great slot under an offensive genius.

Not Jake's son: Gilbert QB Jack Plummer trying to make a name fo - Arizona's Family

Actually, fake news.

Retraction letter:

That's hilarious. I've read countless things saying it was... Was kinda wondering why Jake Plummer would be living in Gilbert? But you can never tell where a rich Mormon will live in the East Valley. (Not saying Plummer is Mormon, just could be as an ASU QB)

I guess Gunner Romney isn't Mitt's son but seriously, since he's going to BYU I'd all but guarantee he's related.

Plummer plays handball (not an euphenism) in CA these days i think

maybe Tom Herman should've taken the kids HS coach to the strip joint.

What a player. By far the most exciting player Purdue has had in ages.

Rondale Moore is gonna have 1000 yards and 10+ TD's as a freshman for Purdue. Book it.

I may have undersold him in the 'Week 1 Watch Party' thread.

However, it's gonna be tough for him to keep up that level of production if Purdue doesn't find a consistent option to throw to on the outside, or if Blough can't figure out how to push the ball down field like Sindelar can.

The announcers mentioned that Northwestern did a really good job of shutting Moore down in the second half, but I wonder how much of that is because Blough is a more conservative QB.

The guy who started the game at QB was bad. All three picks were his fault. All three were horrible.

If They're going to have to be creative to get this guy the ball, but he certainly looks like he's the goods. Explosive but he also seems football smart too, which could be him or good coaching or both.

He was electric, and proved recruiting ratings can be a joke at times. He is going to be fun to watch. Reminds me of Greg Dorch from Wake last season who was having a HUGE frosh campaign before getting hurt before they came to town.

247 got it right. A 4.6* with a 95 rating says you're an elite player. Granted, it took them a while to figure out what I thought was pretty obvious his junior year.

Kid was electric last night. 1st half he made a good Northwestern defense look silly.

always exciting when an elite skill player goes to a middle of the pack team and they feature him heavily. reminds me of michael crabtree at TTU

Kid is going to thrive in Brohm's offense...and he is only a freshman. Purdue definitely got a good one.

Damn I'm good.

Somebody screwed this up at ND big time. Not that the kid was coming to ND, but by all accounts he was never offered and never set foot on campus once. He was a 4 hour drive away from ND and never even got on campus. Big time whiff. Maybe books didn’t allow for it, but I’m just grasping at straws to come up with excuses as to why the staff didn’t want this kid who might be a top 3 freshman in the entire country this year.

There must’ve been a non-football related reason he wasn’t offered.

Definitely books.

Failed to get a Harvard or Yale offer. Did get one from Columbia but everyone knows that's Last Chance Ivy.

There were a ton of schools that missed on this kid. Size was one reason.
