Good for him. I like seeing local kids go to big schools. I can't think of anyone from the 574 play football at Iowa.

I saw that in the paper this morning. I doubt he gets much playing time there. And if he's going there so other schools will notice him, then why would he commit to Iowa?

He's the only TE that's ranked or even rated on IMG's roster. (as of now at least, until a Luke Ford type transfers there.) IMG will also be fielding two teams this year. IMG runs two TE sets also. Sounds like he'll play a lot.

He's also early enrolling at Iowa and says that he wanted to make his decision and there will be no flipping.

I wish ND would have stashed him at a prep school and taken him in '19. I don't like how the '19 class projects for ND and he's an ND kid through and through.

Thanks for bringing that up ZV. I've followed the stories coming out of Iowa on him and all the Indiana guys and there are many references to how they want him at TE or he liked how Iowa saw him as a fit at TE. Makes me wonder how many schools approached him with the TE--->OT angle and if HH was one of them but he wasn't interested?

Funny enough, rereading Matt's post made it sound like the staff wasn't interested in taking him on as a project, in addition to Torres not wanting it.
