Supposedly he's listening to Michigan's pitch of maybe playing D End. I'd bring him in with that kinda flexibility.

We are so far ahead in this one I don't think it matters.

Mack needs to come back next year. At best he is a 5th round draft pick or an undrafted pick.

I am 50/50 with Tremble coming to ND...do they really need him?

Staff absolutely loves Tremble. Put him in the weight room with Balis for one year and they think he'll be a stud as a hybrid TE. And based on what I've seen so far of Mack I think Tremble will be a more impactful player.

...and they have way more scholarships than we've been figuring they would. The Bonner confirmation yesterday will not be the last.

Wiltfong CB'd Tremble to Michigan.

I won't shed a tear. One more CB or OL please.

Thanks Stanford, no italics.

Did he come up last week to try and persuade ND to take but, not getting anywhere, has gone for second best?

If ND had the ballz to tell him, "We want you but we are in a #'s crunch and if we can't get 2 OL's and 2 CB's you are in. We sure wish you would have said yes 6 months ago..." , they get some credit. Tremble was a luxury this cycle. I really like him as a player but ND's in much better shape at TE than other positions and can even bring back Weishar if they determine they need #'s. Also, TE's are a lot easier to find in the PWO market for practice depth as compared to competitive CB's or OL's.

Wiltfong listed what ND was looking for and if they got them they would actually be a player over the limit. In looking at the list Tremble figured to be the odd man out.

ND is fine at TE. Alize will be our guy next year.

Based on what? His inability to stay healthy or his consistent problem with catching the ball or blocking?

I agree they're fine at TE, but it's sure as shit not because of Alize.

Give it a rest.

Gordon, Bracy, NPF, Jones & CB's you don't know about... Can't take four of them with Tremble taking a scholarship that doesn't need filled.

Wait are you saying Irish ff is a complainer? Say it ain’t so Crusader.

With the number of visits he has made here and this, being the first visit Long made on his recruiting trip sure makes it sound that if we have room, they really seem to want him.

They have room, they don't have room for all. Wiltfong thought he'd be the odd man out.

There is no denying TE is the least overall need.

Driskell thinks ND absolutely wants him in this class and thinks TE is a priority I'm not buying it, he officially visits then comes back a month later on his own time probally to commit but I think the staff told him to wait it out to see how the numbers will ply out

That makes the most sense to me too. TE is NOT a priority unless they know Alize is in trouble. Even then, they have 4 TE's they control next year w/o Mack.

Balis could also turn Miles Boykin into a game ready hybrid TE in 6 months. Might be better for Boykin if he has NFL aspirations. Gonna be a lot of WR's competing for snaps next year.

Kind of a shitty thing to do though, right? Have a kid and his family pay their own way to visit just for you to tell him to wait it out. Unless, they had no idea his intentions were to commit that weekend.

Edit: Look at his twitter feed. It’s all UM. I think he’s already gone.
