I always wonder how his career would have gone if he didn't miss two years to injury/suspension. Seems like there was a ton of buzz around him every offseason.

He's been a professional receiver for 4? Years now and it's still getting cut. Another year of college likely wouldn't have changed that.

True but he could’ve elevated his draft status and gotten a much larger signing bonus & rookie contract. Wasn’t he an UDFA?

He played 2 games total from 2019-2020. In 2021 he had 48 catches for 888 yards and 7 TD’s without basically playing for 2 years. He has talent. It’s easy to get lost in the shuffle in the NFL as an undrafted guy.

He also had problems with drops in his one full season. I don't think the guy had any interest in being at school another year.

Yup, problems with the hands and not a great route runner. He struggled with separation.

Austin definitely didn't hit his potential while at ND. He was very raw athleticism, struggled to consistently bring in decent catches and get separation in tight coverage. I'm a bit surprised given those stats that he's still going, but then again when you look at the Saints 3 deep they've got half their offense in the red.

We do it too .. I don't want a USC player on the Bills but if Josh Allen were from USC I'd find it pretty hard for me not to think he's still fing awesome lol
