Haven't followed recruiting recently as close as I used to. I just came to the conclusion that a player either chooses you or he doesn't. And if he didn't choose you, then I convince myself he wasn't the right fit and didn't want to be here anyways. Has made NSD much more enjoyable.

I know we need some CB's and there are two that I hope we get. Any other additions are great. Just haven't followed close enough to know specifics on players, targets, etc. Trust the staff more than the recruits and everything will work itself out.... hopefully.

pOSU was selling depth chart pretty hard to him and somehow they must've convinced him that the academics at pOSU are "very close" to what ND offers.

There wasn't a flood of CBs when he visited any other school. The fact that even Loy flipped it (and that an FSU guy flipped it *before* Wiltfong) means everyone's getting intel.

Still betting that those crystal balls are based upon very limited information. Wiltfong's best guess is now pOSU, but I'm guessing he would still say, it wouldn't surprise me if he signed with Florida or ND.

I love how pOSU touts that they are a Top 20 "Public School" as proof of great Academics.

Well guess what, the University of Evansville's business program is ranked #4 for Small Private Business Schools.

Just because you come up with a stat with a good ranking doesn't mean you should view schools as similar in academic stature.

With Greg Schiano leaving, this really seemed like we'd beat them out.

Christian at ISD said on Monday OSU would virtually be out of it in his opinion if Schiano left.

Patterson along with the other 3 commits, only 2 have to turn out to be legit. 3 would be a bonus. We're fine, but it would have been great to be elite.

I'll have more in tonight's Hurry Up, but it appears this past weekend's visit was a home run. Though I've been told a final decision won't come until he sits down with his mother and coaches this evening, but I expect Ohio State's lack of depth to overcome Florida's proximity.
