He's a special talent, that's for sure.
Yes he is!! Would love his talent in South Bend, a true playmaker!

Long way to go with this, but do like that CB's are all ND at the moment.
Recruiting has made me skeptical, so the CB's don't comfort me yet haha. I err on the side of thinking that they were put in simply for the convenience that his oldest brother is at ND, and it's an easy guess.
Once NSD hits, and Osiris is officially at Stanford, I'd imagine this recruitment will get real weird.
Yea, I think his recruitment will look quite a bit dfferent than ESB and OSB's. He's going to garner a lot of national attention, more so than either of his brothers, IMO. I could see teams like Bama, OSU, etc. getting involved.
I thought they already had.
I said it somewhere in another thread at some point after Osiris verballed to Stanford, but I said that EQ picked ND for the academics, Osiris picked Stanford for Cali, and Amon-Ra will pick Bama for the championships.
FOH, Urban
I'm sure when it's all said and done he will have a scholarship from everybody. Might as well get them out out the way now.
Yeah, can't really get torn up about him announcing offers. By NSD, any school that thinks they have even a .000001% chance of getting him to visit will offer. There isn't a school in the country that wouldn't take him.
They are. I think Lucky means be real players in his recruitment. Bama's already offered, I'd bet my life OSU has personally been in contact. He's one of those guys that EVERY school will recruit at some level, they might never "waste their time" offering because they know they have no chance but he's already received recruiting letters from every P5 in the country. That's just how that works.
Once again I think it is going to take a hell of a job for the coaches to land this kid. Us getting rid of Long is a plus, he was part of the reason why Osiris went to Stanford. On top of that, it's not a gurantee that St. Brown stays after this year, he could have a great year and jump to the NFL like Fuller.
Never know what's going on in his mind. He may look up to ESB and want to follow in his footsteps. You can say all you want about BK not being here after next year or this years record, but I think ESB being here helps more than hurts.
Who was part of the problem? I didn't realize OSB had a beef with one of the ex-coaches.
This... and if ESB was to jump to the NFL this year like Mercy said, me thinks that ain't a bad thing either. As much as this family values education, ESB going first round in 3 years will trump all that.

Players really like Ballou so far... or hate Ballou, in the best way possible

THere was numerous reports that the Browns the dad especially wasn't happy with the strength and conditioning of St. Brown, that has to fall on longo .
EQ's dad had issue with the S&C program. Felt Longo wasn't doing a good job. Was pretty vocal about it, actually.
OK. When he wrote Long, not Longo it threw me. I thought he meant another coach like Denbrock that left.
.
Well that problem is solved so that should be a plus. Especially if our two new S&C guys are as good as advertised.
ND will have five, for the first time. Two new, David and Jake are staying, and they are adding one more.
What a sad situation for Notre Dame. You all realize Paul Longo, who the school announced was on a leave of absence, is on disability?
No judgement about Longo.
But as far as ND having a strength and conditioning coach who goes from running the shooting match, to total disability, there is something that just seems wrong about that.
Why didn't they bring in more help earlier?
I'm not criticizing Longo's claim for disability, but how can someone go from an active position like S&C Coordinator, to disability, without the University, becoming aware, and finding resources to shore up the program?
Browns point taken.
