How late do they run though in the year?

And are there absolutely no classes going on right now? I know plenty of football players take summer classes.
June. And I don't know if there are any classes right now. I doubt it though, since the new quarter starts within two weeks.

Several Pac 12 schools run quarters, though I don't know the exact number.

Only graduate students (who are on a semester system) and undergraduates who are helping to prepare for the welcoming of first year students were on campus. Even so, the student section was surprisingly full although our undergraduates are much louder and more involved. The USC fans were noticeably less in number than previous years but it didn't stop their band from droning on and on with their Tribute to Troy. All done, the atmosphere before and during the game was great!

Recruits on Stanford campus taking unofficials per twitter postings:

Class of 2017
Davis Mills (commit)
Colby Parkinson (commit)
Osiris St Brown (commit)
Tucker Fisk (commit)
Stuart Head (commit)
Foster Sarell
Walker Little
Elijah Molden

Class of 2018
Max Wright

Class of 2019
JT Daniels

Accepted into Stanford

Sarrell(not committed)
Davis Mills best QB in high school football IMO
Colby Parkinson he's going to be a blast to try and cover next four years with Schultz

Those are some elite recruits Stanford has headed towards them. Plus they will finish strong like usual.

I like the way Stanford does bizzz

They also stand a legit shot with Walker Little. Sarell and Little would be an incredible haul.

To the bolded, Shaw (though he's a douche) has all of his football teams business taken care of, so he's already been able to visit for one of Walker's games, in Texas. In an attempt to express his importance. On the other hand, Kelly won't be able to do that until the bye week, because we're putting out a dumpster fire. Though he historically hasn't anyway, unless it was close to home. Sigh.

Blomgren is the best O line coach in the country and he gets results. Everyone gushes about our O line recruitment and developments and it's wonderful what HH does but Blomgren is just as good. If he lands Sarrell and Little it might put him ahead of HH as well. Plus he get results and it's not inconsistent every week like ours seems to tend to be.

Sarrell was supposedly at the UW/SU game, not sure if it was unofficial but I think so. He seems to be catching a lot of Cardinal games. I hope that performance hurt Stanford's chances with him; but it could have also bolstered the home teams odds. I guess it depends how his emotions were during the beat down - he doesn't really seem like the type fo be influenced by one event.
HH and crew need to bave a big day for him on Oct. 15.

It's inconsistent some weeks, though. This week they were playing a high quality opponent with conference championship implications (i.e., a game in which they should have been dialed in):

- They gave up 8 sacks.
- They had 30 carries for 29 total rushing yards (counting sacks).
- Their Heisman hopeful had 49 yards on 12 carries.

The point is, all of this is perception. It's really hard to know who does the most (1) with the talent they have (2) in the scheme they have and (3) against the competition they have.

HH is the man.

Great points

They are so much better running the ball at home than on the road. I wonder if that's bad coaching?

No, that's just because the line can hear each other making calls and blocking assignments because there's no crowd.

He was there and it was an unofficial. I was at the game as well. It was a great atmosphere (Still not close to ND, Michigan , etc in my opinion) but definitely loud and high energy.

At this point you would have to think Washington has moved from third to first in his recruitment.

Are you saying this on record alone or is there something out there that might suggest this.

I'm kind of making a joke that Stanford and ND stink this year and Washington is a top 10 team.

If I had to make pick right now, I think he ends up at Stanford.

Why wouldn't he? He's gonna play earlier with less competition, get a Top 5 diploma, play in better weather in a better zip.

.....if the Big One doesn't get him while he's there.

Because of five games? He's been on Washington's radar longer than anyone. I don't think it will be a major factor but it doesn't hurt Washington's chances. I think ND made it interesting this summer but Stanford is and always has been the leader. Unless you talk to Ruth's crazy ass

Notre Dame offensive line shit the bed. Stanford has now locked him up.

Why would he want to play for a bunch of losers.

We have enough threads to bitch about how bad we suck. Let's try to bring information to recruits threads. Especially after they just visited. Has anyone heard or read anything, good or bad, about his visit?
