I wish Foster would just put a bullet in ND and narrow it down to UDub and Stanford.

It's all over anyways, no way he goes to Stanford. I know he saw their final game against Rice. They gave out Andrew Luck autographed thumb drives to the first 5000 fans... and they had 1200 left over.

when you are sending in BK as your closer and its not even the 3rd inning then you know the game is up

If he was from the Midwest, I think he'd be Irish. With that said, he doesn't and Washington/Stanford are attractive destinations, don't see this happening.

With him announcing tomorrow, my guess is that the Gug "feels good about where they stand".

This has some notes on Sarrell, they don't see him coming. Most everyone thinks it's a battle between Washington and Stanford... I will say though that the weird thing though about Sarrell is that because he doesn't talk to anyone no one really knows for certain which way he's leaning. He's a rare recruit without an obvious leak before the announcement.

I read that right after I posted; I'm just surprised that we haven't heard the old kiss of death from the Gug yet. I'm hoping for UW since I really doubt he chooses the Irish, but I'll take a 5 star future NFL lineman.

I always figured Banks coming was a sign that Foster had already made up his mind that ND was out. It has to be Washington (?) Can't imagine Walker Little or Foster Sarell at RT. Can't imagine either putting themselves in a position to let that happen. Too much money on the line.

while I don't think Sarell is coming I don't believe Banks committing was an indicator as he's an OG all the way.

Because while he might have the look on paper or coming off the bus as a OT due to his height and size, his skill set/limitations scream OG.

No source just logic of understanding of players and the game.

Lugg skillset says he's a OT and most likely RT who could maybe develop into a LT before it's all said and done.

Gibbons is a OG all the way.

Hainsey is the true wildcard as he is one who has the skillset at the college level can play every position on the OL.

Agree completely on Banks. Mauler at RG. Doesn't have the footwork or athleticism needed to play on the edge. Kraemer/Lugg are the future at RT with Eichenberg at LT.

IMO, Sarell was a long shot from the beginning. It's like you have your mind made up on a new car and when you get to the dealer, NDCrusader is in the parking lot waiting on you. You tell him what you want and he shows you two of the model you want. You having a hard time deciding between the two. Then he tells you about this new model and all of its great features. You tell him you don't want an SUV, but he keeps pressing until you say okay. You look at the SUV and agree, that it's nice and would work, but it's not quite what you had in mind. You proceed to head back across the lot to the other two cars.

Let this be known. If you come on my lot, you're leaving in what I stuff you in. I'll keep showing you green and navy cars with gold chrome trim while whistling the fight song. You'll crack. They all do.

Not disagreeing. Just wanted to know if there was anything official from ND sources saying he has agreed to come in as a guard exclusively or if he's coming in as an OL and letting it work itself out(?).

I've read plenty of pieces on Banks that would suggest he thinks he can play OT. No doubt coming to ND says he's flexible as to what HH wants. Eichenberg and Lugg are the only guaranteed OT's on the roster (IMO) not starting right now... and even Lugg has some people thinking he might be someone who slides inside, read that twice yesterday from the Army Bowl practices.

Anyways, all speculation because Foster's staying home.
