I'm not holding anything back; I didn't say anyone else is going to decommit. Even if no one else decommits, this class is *already* screwed and it's going to hurt the on-field product for years to come.

This class is going to be awful. The ranking will be good but we need to be filling needs and adding depth but decommitts, player suspensions and expulsions plus many losses in recruiting battles is what got us to this spot in the first place. Hope this new staff can recruit big time players to come to ND and hold on to them.

That was the only thing I needed to read this year to gather how poor ND recruiting is becoming.

I don't think "complete faith" is justified, but I'm also optimistic that we'll see sustained improvements in the defense over the next three years.

I didn't say the former, and as for the latter, you've gotta be blind to think Kelly hasn't already lost significant control over our program. That's what most of these recent changes are about. Unfortunately, that's also apparent to everyone else in CFB, including rival coaching staffs, and they're using it against us on the recruiting trail.

Our depth chart is likely to sustain some serious damage before we're finally rid of Kelly; the sort of damage that'll take years to repair.
