I wonder who has the bigger NFL upside between Coan and Book. Coan looked comfortable in the pocket. Helps when you have some time to throw. It’s good to see two of Rees’s guys getting TDs. Both of whom exceeded their perceived potential as recruits.

I feel like if they both had some of each others attributes, they could have higher NFL ceilings.

Book with Coan’s arm and Coan with Book’s legs.

Coan does not possess a strong arm at all…what he had on book was a couple inches and a willingness to throw over the middle and into tight windows. Book wouldnt let it go until he saw the opening (and it had to be significant), he rarely if ever threw anybody open.

If you’re NFL team had to ask this question, they would be screwed either way

It’s not strong but it’s better. Especially on deep balls. Coan can drive the ball a little more.

Coan!! He would do really good on a team with a great Oline, he would be better on the eagles then the colts player
Colts O-line is one of the best in the league. They need to fix LT, but hard to argue against the rest of them.

As a Colts fan, hearing this, with what Luck had to go through....
Could have a SB with this combo of oline and Luck (and Taylor)

Book really didn't have much to throw to Senior year other than Mayer. The year before it was pretty much just Claypool with some Kmet and Finke sprinkled in. Claypool was our last 1000 yard receiver, before that it was Fuller 7 years ago. Our WR position groups have been weak for some time. Coan didn't really have it any better, Austin and Lenzy just weren't consistent and couldn't get separation. It's surprising either guy got picked up by the NFL when they didn't have a ton of weapons to throw to like a Justin Fields or a Sam Darnold have had. They certainly both exceeded their billing.

I always hate this narrative. the luck o lines weren’t great, but Luck put himself at risk far too much, and is far more to blame for his own injuries than anyone else. He literally never learned to slide or step OOB. he could have been great, but did himself in.

This is bullshit. His injuries were all linked to hits/tackles resulting from offensive linemen getting worked. Luck aggravated one of his injuries snowboarding; you can blame that on him.

Cut by Indy, feel bad for the guy. Hopefully he is picked up by a team for their practice squad
Shame, looked like he played pretty well against the Lions and Tampa Bay. He did have a couple fumbles, but recovered both. Makes sense though, hard to make a team as a 4th QB when you've got Ehlinger, Matt Ryan, and Nick Foles as your 3 QBs. Those 3 should be solid.

I'm not sure that's right.

Luck suffered a lacerated kidney and a partial tear of an abdominal muscle when he scrambled up field on a second-and-9 play early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 27-24 win over the Denver Broncos.

Being an ass to Irish#1 is a good way to win friends around here.
Can’t you see the winking emoji? Do you know what that means? I can’t understand why so many people on this board take EVERYTHING literally. BTW, “STFU” from Irish#1 is what precluded the YMCA posts.

The pride of Sayville on the beautiful south shore of Long Island will get picked up by someone. He’s worth taking a flier on.
