Had to look up that school. Wow. At today's tuition schedule, sending a boy from pre-school thru high school would cost about $350K if you pay full price.

The most prestigious of Bawlmo private schools. I didn't think BL kids could read.

Another scramble drill offer. With the exception of WVU, VT and Sparty his offer list isn't that strong. now if you're talking offers academically, this guy is killing it.

Pitt, Mizzou, Wake. I saw BC and figured that's a good sign of the player not being soft. Temple offer isn't bad either.

Yeah, BL is a lacrosse school. Concentrate on Gilman and McDonough. Maybe Loyola or Calvert Hall.

On the other hand, he may be a diamond in the rough. A real good BL kid might get overlooked.

Of course it's a scramble drill offer at this point. But a bunch of programs with better defenses than ours are offering him. And he looks serious about the school part. Why not?

Set up an office in DeMatha and work your way down from there. Have Mike Brey do it, he has a set of keys to the joint he got along with his diploma. It's a one stop shop for all you Irish needs.

...and there is ZERO wrong with his highlight film. Plus it's almost 14 minutes long.

Guys that looked just like him in HS fill NFL rosters. Not everybody in the League was a 5 star from Bama or SC. We all want bragging rights on NSD but as Clemson & Washington showed this year, you can get to the Final 4 w/o being the NSD national champion.

There are always guys that beat the odds. Maybe he'll turn out to be better then projected and I would have no problem with that. My point was more along the lines of, we're coming down the home stretch scrambling to fill spots with guys we didn't target until the last minute. Now that Elko is on board, I hope this won't be the case next year, at least for defensive players.

Oh absolutely, if you are including the DC area, that's where you start.

Gonzaga is number 2.

#1, I think we're all hoping this is the LAST time we see issues with having to fill a class. It not only painful, because it's soo damned hard to keep up, but it's taxing as well. The new coaches are working their asses off, that's very telling, has/is it going to pay off??? Hell, only time will tell.

lol its a vicious cycle were in.

ND offers a no name late. 5 people come on and tell us about Eifert, JJ Watt, and the NFL draft.

Loy CB's and the Gug feels good.

Suddenly he has some real good traits, wants to be at ND, and fits our scheme perfect.

Then he doesnt come here and he was terrible so we didnt care.

Yeah, it's like a Chinese fire drill. Wait, was that offensive? Should I have said Asian fire drill?

But Elko/Lea aren't starting from scratch on these guys. These guys were all in their sights at WF

As someone from the Chicagoland area, if I drive 30 miles from my city to your city and it's all houses/no agriculture in between, it's the same place.

Haha. So is Gary part of Chicago?

Crusader, while you're technically right, once you start driving through that area, if you're not on the toll road, you're not always sure if you're in Gary, East Chicago, Hammond, Whiting, or Chicago. It's kind of a who's who of where you're at exactly, lol

You are if you're from there but that's my point in the Baltimore/DC area. As you alluded to, when you're there it's block after block of houses/apartments/businesses/industry until you get to Wisconsin It's the same place, a state line doesn't change anything.
