I'd say with most recruits this is a completely reasonable conclusion. Not so sure with this kid. I think he is probably - at a minimum - intrigued with OSU. Not sure it means he is gone though. He seems like he is being very thorough. Who knows though.

I think what Sherm is saying is somewhat right. Not sour grapes at all, this kid is a player. He's a stud. However, it's weeks from NSD and his list is 7-8 deep, not 3-4, which is long, but still reasonable. He wants something, whether it's attention, a bigger stage, etc. I don't know. Something other than what he thinks he's getting, but if it was ND, I don't believe he'd be doing this. Which is fine. That's his deal, that just might not be our guy.

FWIW, forcing guys into ND does not work, it never has , and it never will. So let them come and if not, let them go. Could we have played it differently, yes, but we could say that about other ND players.

Kraemer, Eichemberg, D. Hayes, Jaylon Smith, Sheldon Day, Nyles Morgan, etc. got t recruited until the end, by big time schools, but they were steady in their recruitments.

So many examples of ND kids that didn't get wet when Urban came calling. It isn't wrong that he does, it's just that it might not be what ND is. We need classes of more Wrights, Kmets, Hainsey, etc. who have have been called by big time schools and they don't give 2 fucks about it.

If he isn't coming to ND, I'd root for him to go to the hometown school and be the hometown hero.

Just saw a comment on a Michigan board that he didn't make it to Ohio St. due to plane issues. Not sure if it's true or not.

Bucknuts is reporting that as well. They had trouble getting flights worked out, not so much issues with the plane.

Yeah, ISD isn't feeling too comfortable with this one. Alexander is supposed to be visiting him at the end of this week, but longer this goes on, the less likely he is to choose ND.

i think the proof is in the pudding. two weeks in a row he was trying to go on visits. neither to ND.
