All of these kids getting offers from others schools, tells me the other schools are in the same boat. They've lost some kids or kids are trending away, so they're also scrambling to find kids to fill the spots.

Gotta remember that it's sometimes the messengers that are blowing smoke, not the kid. He seems to have been pretty non-committal throughout the whole process.

It's important to remember that Oliver Martin talks to no one. There are no reporters that are getting him on the phone and getting lots of information straight from the horse's mouth. Everything people are getting of value is from 1) coaches recruiting him or 2) a second-hand source... neither can really be that close to the situation.

I think ND people felt their last in-home with him went very well. I would not read anything that any Iowa site/fan posts because local teams in national recruitments tend to have very strange slants on the news... I see it all the time with kids from the DMV that are "locks" for Maryland/Penn State/Virginia Tech and then "shockingly" head elsewhere for what local fans are just suuuuuure is terrible advice or cheating or insert any other ridiculous excuse.

If he was going to commit to Iowa would he have already done it? Because he had the opportunity to... and then changed his decision timeline...

The fact that he hasn't and continues to take visits all over the country and consider a wide range of schools I think tells you he's open to going elsewhere. If he decides at the end of the cycle after taking in all of the information to be a Hawkeye that makes sense, but if I was a betting man I'd bet against them at this point.

Urban does this for sport. Any time he can take a possible ND commit he'll do it just to fk with Kelly. He'll always find a way to make his numbers work in the end.

Recently hired Pep Hamilton visited yesterday & Harbaugh will visit Martin according to Wiltfong. Mentioned that Meatchicken was the clear leader in the summer/early Fall and they've made him a priority again.

Crusader, my advice would be to not bother looking very far into Martin's decision. It'll drive you nuts. He's going to get a lot of attention and take a visit or two. He's not giving up any info. It's totally and wait and see. I believe Kelly is visiting him soon.
